Well, I was previously a Flyers' fan until I found out that Vegas was getting a hockey team. I jumped on that team as soon as I found out they were getting a team, and I frankly don't care what other teams do. I think the glamour that the Golden Knights use is awesome!

If they have a 2018 season that misses the playoffs and JJ / SJ don’t shitcan the red-headed stepchild right after. THAT would do it for me.

I'm rooting for the Caps and OOOOVechkin, not because I'm a Caps fan. They were a new franchise not that many years ago and have toiled in obscurity. Like I said I think the Vegas story is great and good for the good old Canadian hockey game. Can see the number of kids enrolling in minor hockey decreasing here though because of injury risk. Kids play soccer here now. In many ways the NHL faces the same challenges as the NFL.... player safety and CTE
