I would tell Jerry that Dak is trash and to hire a real GM to run things.

I would be respectful and friendly. Same way I would be to someone from the "other side" politically or a musician I wasn't into or the like.

And I wouldn't push myself towards them but let them have space and initiate any contact (other than a hello as we passed). And I wouldn't talk shop unless they brought it up.

And even if so, would still be gentle about starting an argument or the like. (Since they are not hiring me as a consultant or really asking for deep thoughts.)

But I wouldn't kiss their ***** or fawn on them either. I just treat celebrities like normal people. Usually I don't even bring up that I recognize them--let them name drop that if they want to. Often they don't either from being classy or from not wanting to have to be their public persona.

I think being a jerk to VIP in public is such a Yankee tacky thing to do. Reminds me of Extremeskins, where they felt like acting like jerks made them more hard corps. It didn't...just made them sound like Philly fans. With a big pie slice of message board braggadocio mixed in (everyone is a badass on the Internet).

P.s. I WOULD be tempted to work the conversation around to oil and gas and the whole shale revolution. Try to do it in a sly way though. I don't work in it, but have always felt this romance about the upstream business. In another life, I'd be a geologist, spudding in wells as I fought Bedouins.

Absolutely, their people just like us, I would act normal. But I think that is normal for some of these people lol

With the recent announcement of the Schottenheimer interview, I can’t help but think of a hypothetical scenario. Imagine encountering Jerry or Stephen in a casual setting, such as walking on the street or mingling at a party. How would you react?

Personally, I wouldn’t have a pleasant exchange. Of course, there would be no violence or profanity involved, as it’s just a game after all. However, I would express my disapproval with a stern expression on my face, which would be unintentional. I can’t be fake. If I don’t like someone, they’ll know it. If one of them attempts to shake my hand, I wouldn’t reciprocate. If they do choose to get close to me, I would calmly express my opinion on why they should sell the team and emphasize the benefits it would bring to their families.
I would yell loudly, JERRY YOU SUCK. FIRE YOURSELF. YOU ARE AN EMBARRASEMENT TO NFL>

I'd take a quick look and keep going my way.

They live and rule in a highly privileged nest.

I'm merely another one of their poor suckers.

In my mind, I'd be shooting them the finger!!

I've actually had this happen. I think it was 2003. I was at Pat O Briens in New Orleans the night before a Cowboys / Saints game and Jerry, Stephen, Larry Lacewell and another man came into to the bar. Bill Parcells was in his first year as coach and the Cowboys were headed to the playoffs, so I didn't feel like I had a lot to complain about at the time in regards to the Cowboys. Jerry and Stephen were both approachable and friendly, but I can't say the same for Lacewell. You could tell Jerry liked the attention he was getting.

Flip the double bird and tell them they couldn’t run a fantasy team let alone my soon to be ex-favorite real team.

Since my lip would be loaded up with Copenhagen, I'd probably spit and tend to my own affairs.
