With the recent announcement of the Schottenheimer interview, I can’t help but think of a hypothetical scenario. Imagine encountering Jerry or Stephen in a casual setting, such as walking on the street or mingling at a party. How would you react?

Personally, I wouldn’t have a pleasant exchange. Of course, there would be no violence or profanity involved, as it’s just a game after all. However, I would express my disapproval with a stern expression on my face, which would be unintentional. I can’t be fake. If I don’t like someone, they’ll know it. If one of them attempts to shake my hand, I wouldn’t reciprocate. If they do choose to get close to me, I would calmly express my opinion on why they should sell the team and emphasize the benefits it would bring to their families.
The more interessting question would be:

What would they do if they see me?

If it was a hot and sweaty summers day, I'd reach down the back of my pants and wipe my finger across Jerry's upper lip.

I wouldn't have anything to say to Stephen, he just seems unapproachable.

I have been very critical of Jerry Jones but let me be honest here. I might be a little starstruck. I would probably just tell him how long I've been a fan, share a few insights and gently remind him that we are past due.

I wouldn't make a scene, give him a dressing down, or behave rudely in any way. However, I would convey my disappointment in some way, I wouldn't have to try, it would be far more difficult to hide it.

Anyway, that's the truth.

Now, on the flipside.......

I imagine meeting him and telling him I am a huge Cowboys fan. Then I would just have this disgusted look on my face. When he asked why, I would respond, "I thought I just told you I was a huge Cowboys fan."

Or I could pretend I was a casual Cowboys fan and say, "Mr. Jones, I think you are a great owner. My only criticism is, I don't know who your GM is but you got to fire that guy, he is just plain awful!"
