Whatever Coach Leads Dallas To Its 6th Championship

I don't understand why people care whether certain posters predict doom and gloom or posters are overly optimistic.

We're a community. And a community includes people of all different stripes.

I just find it interesting (and a bit of a joke) that posters want to ban others who voice negative opinions about the Cowboys or a particular player or who think Jerry Jones needs to get out of the GM business or those who think Romo is an average quarterback.

Why would those opinions bother you on an opinion board? Again, I find it interesting that people are offended by differing opinions on an opinion board?

This is really my entire point right here. The "happy fans" as they are called bug me, but I've never attacked someone because they were a happy fan. I've attacked various overly-positive (in my view, anyway) opinions, but attacking the posters, asking for bans, labeling as "bad" posters etc. should be reserved for trolls and people who never actually discuss football and just stir the pot.

People who actually want to talk about the team shouldnt be insulted for holding an opinion unless they want to trade Ware or something along those lines, in which case they are almost certainly a troll anyway.

These threads are always funny. Same people (cliches) vs bbgun and the rebels, lol. I don’t know what i am. I want the Cowboys to win and i tend to be optimistic at the start of a new season. Somewhere in between the losing i get pretty negative. Last season was horrible as a fan. Please tell me i won’t go through that again? At any rate, i have my two fantasy teams ready to go just in case.

I've posted as many postive things as I have negative in my time here and have always owned up when I was wrong, yet I regularly get attacked for what I post. Right now, coming off a 6-10 season, there is more to worry about than be excited about IMO. Expressing this opinion results in many posters acting as if I've openly expressed interest in murdering their first born. I just don't get it is all. I don't get why me and others are given a negative label because we havent been able to convince ourselves that most of the question marks on this team will work themselves out.

Again, I don't want anyone getting a pat on the back for anything, I just wonder why many valid opinions get thrown out and attacked because they are perceived as negative by some. It's not as if we're making up these concerns, they are very real concerns.
I haven't seen you getting "attacked." I've seen you trying to defend those who are "getting attacked" which is silly because it opens yourself up for what? An "attack.

This is not brain surgery. It is not rocket science. It's not even rocket surgery or brain science. A troll is someone who goes onto a fan forum of any kind and makes comments to rile people up then professes shock, awe, and innocence of any ill intent.

If a Washing Some Head Skins or Phil the Delthia Eagles fans come on here and start bashing Tony Romo what is going to happen? They are going to get descended on by a pack of wild dogs and chewed to bits.

What happens if you go on their pathetic forums and do the same to their teams? Same thing that happens here.

So what in the blue damned hell is so damned hard for you to figure out about the same crap they say being said by Cowboys fans not making other fans all warm and fuzzy? What is it that confuses your damned mind?

because I got to tell you, there is nothing at all confusing about it from where I sit.

I guess I just don't see the kind of people the OP is talking about as trolls. Criticizing Scandrick or the handling of the Gurode situation isnt trolling IMO.

No one is saying that is. They are saying that if you are all over Gurode game after game, year after year and now getting rid of him is stupid it is trolling. It is.

There are posters here who hate every move the team makes. They'd be screaming if we kept him but started Costa. "Too high priced to be on the bench." They'd have screamed if we started him. "He isn't any good." "He sucks." "Cut him now."

They're screaming because he was cut. Go figure how you can defend being two faced.

I can't watch it. I may never eat a Snickers again.

I salute those that think we have no shot but still invest so much time in the team. You can't question that man's loyalty. He's in it during what he believes is a down time. That's admirable.

Now if you just will always think negative then there's a problem. But that doesn't mean you have to convince yourself we can win with Jerry. If you don't believe in him and think he's holding us back, I understand your point of view. I don't expect you to change your mind simply because we can't get rid of him. So you're always complaining. I get it. Doesn't make you less fanner than me or anyone else.

I don't want to read the homer fan who thinks everything's great and according to plan all the time. Nor do I want to read his opposite, a guy who just exists to criticize every little thing the team does.

Give me the rational reads. Someone with the ability to love or hate what we're doing with no second thought to his own rooting interests. That guy is worth listening to. It means something if he likes a move, because he has the ability to say he hates it if he felt that way. Joe Fan doesn't. He loves everything. I can tell you his opinion before he has a chance to chime in.

I agree, I just didnt rea the OP that way. If that's what he was referencing, then I have no real issue. It came across to me as a shot at people who question personel or personel moves, not people who are two faced.
