Wow! Why didn't I think of that brilliant idea earlier? Oh, because we have Terrrence Newmann who is awaiting his inevitable contract extension that is going to cost us alot of dough. Not to mention Tony Romo's contract looming contract extension. There is only so much money to spend.

Besides, Samuel isn't nearly as talented as Newman is nor as fast. Samuel had a great defensive line and a VERY solid LB core which helped to make him look better than he really is.

I think it would be silly to spend 40 million on two defensive backs even though they are talented. San Diego had only one solid defensive back last year but because they had a crazy defensive line and linebackers it really didn't matter.
