What’s funny to me about Rush vs Dak is how many fans are trying to glorify Rushes performances. One fan claimed Rush is in contention for league MVP. If we were winning the same way with Dak everyone would still be bashing him claiming we’re winning in spite of him.

The only thing that matters is the dropoff in production vs money paid. They arent that far off in talent but money wise they couldnt be further. Imagine being able to afford amari, von miller in addition to the other moves they made....wouldnt they be better?

Which is exactly what I mean by Cowboys fans who are hyping up Cooper Rush beyond what he is capable of doing as a QB.

KM looks like a rockstar OC, and how much was on Dak before that? Maybe let KM call the plays, and reduce some of Dak's chances to throw into coverage.

Daks abilities have not changed, sadly the league’s ability to defense him has changed.
It's not good.

They are searching for flaws in Rush's game as we speak fortunately it may take a while.

Quarterbacks in general are viewed in a vacuum. It's a poor way to treat the position, but that's what fans do. It's just like saying Rush is 3-0. No, the team is 3-0 with Rush at QB. How important was it that he was the QB in those games? That's hard to say. If the defense had been as porous as some of those in the past, for example, would we have been able to win those games with Rush at QB? Again, can't say.

Yes, I agree completely. But for the sake of the conversation I was responding to it's a moot point. The guy said that Anthony Brown's 4 pi's didn't factor into the loss... So yes. You and I are on the same page, just not for this instance.

I have never rated Prescott, however what I have seen of Rush is that he is not the answer to the QB. dilemma for the Boys. Prescott will get the job back and I expect more of the same from his performance. Perhaps he will simplify his play but to me at least his deficiencies will continue. Daks cap hit going forward means he's going nowhere. If we are Boys fans we need to support Dak as QB but be critical where needed.
Its great to see our back up helping to win games.

I think you’re reading and reaching on that interpretation. I think someone posted the positives of a scouting report on Cooper and remarked about how they were quite similar in those positives to what was reported about Brady, especially when it came to the mental aspect of the game. I don’t believe anyone said that he’s the next Tom Brady.

Also the ones who say that Dak Supporters have an agenda and only wants the Cowboys to win with Dak. As if there aren't those on the other side of the Dak debate, who are hoping for the Cowboys to lose when Dak comes back, so they can keep pushing their narrative against him. Or those who don't enjoy posting the "I told you so" posts whenever Dak has a bad game or the team loses with Dak.

Also the ones who acts like Dak is the only QB which NFL defenses game plan to stop. When defenses would eventually game plan to stop what Cooper Rush does best, if and when they have enough tape on him.

I’m searching for the comment but there’s one fan claiming the Cowboys defense is on par with the 85 Bears and could be even better. Lol I’ve never seen a group of fans that go overboard like this one does. It’s hilarious!
