What's going on with the Cowboys O-Line Thread

i dont know...but thats two games in a row where the play calling is sub par at best....The Cardinals continued to draw up plays on third down that beat us...at some point you have to draw something up to get the ball in your best players hands. Not just force feed him the quick slant, i feel bad for our young guys and tony..The play calling is just really putrid in situational downs

I wish they would have! Hell, he would have lost the game also, but I bet he would have been more exciting to watch rather than that numskull we say today! lol

Imo it's hard to blame play calling when the other team knows that the opposing QB is incapable of making a play with his arm or his feet.

But thats where coaching comes into place. We can make excuses all we want. But a good coach will do the things necessary to win even with a backup QB. I bet Parcells found ways to win games like this.

But, what could a coach do? Weeden sucks, period!

However on the other side of the coin, they should have stopped running into the teeth of the defense just because it had been working. What about more screens or play action? But, yeah, I think the coaches called a bad game.

I agree, the playcalling was terrible........................not that it would have mattered as bad as Weeden played, but running straight up the gut into the teeth of the number one ranked run defense in the NFL is just stupid.
 
Even in the skins game, we gained 8 yards on 1st down run and pass on 2nd and 3rd downs. Sometimes it is the attitude that the coaching staff gives the OL and the team and letting them run, run when it is working
