I'm thinking Quinn didn't like the pick. Because with LVE and Barr being one year rentals it only makes sense to give Cox some playing time.

Why he isn't getting a chance at least on passing downs is perplexing to me
Who you taking off the field though? Passing downs is where LVE has really thrived this year. Barr only got 24 snaps against philly. Dallas seems to be doing either and extra pass rusher or an extra safety over keeping Barr on the field.

Definitely some mystery as to why he hasn't seen a few more snaps.
But I guess he might be more a development project than when first drafted as a 4th rounder.
Ball is the same.
Ditto for Wright as a 3rd.

Still not sure on Joseph(2nd) for me as well but maybe next year.

Tolbert(3rd)is a rookie, but I would have liked to have seen a bit more with how the first of the year's WR room was kinda open. Another developmental guy as well.

I think they need to play whoever can make tackles and stop the opposing run. Barr has been pretty bad against the run and is more of a DE than a LB. He is an older version of Micah whose main value is pressuring the QB. LVE is having a decent year, but the Cowboys have to give these young guys more snaps to give them some game experience. Its a long season, giving LVE or Barr a few series off would benefit them.
