The 90's spoiled me as a kid and since it's just felt like disappointment after disappointment.

Really?

Guy is in the HoF.

We have never had that before.

A GM who is in the highest honor by his piers.

And you want him gone?

He's a HoF owner ... not a HoF GM. As GM, he's been a major failure. Sorry.

Jimmy won those 3 trophies. Jerry's legacy is the last 20 years of emptiness. I'm ready for him to move on ...

Fan since '76. What has changed, at least for me, is we have so many players come and go now year over year.

It all seems much more like a business now with everything being "disposable" in the endless quest for more and more gold. Including people. They are all disposable as well. I don't like that aspect of it. And I find it harder to really care as much as I did in the past because of it.

The NFL makes a ton of money, however. So I guess the vast majority are ok with it all.

This is exactly how I feel and view football now, it is just a business. I am not wearing rose colored glasses thinking all of these guys are going to be the future of the team. Age and cynicism have shown me not to count on potential but to wait for results. I will always love the Cowboys, but I was close to saying goodbye during the Switzer years. That was the only time I was ever embarrassed to be a Cowboys fan. I will hate that man until the day he dies. He will always be a low class carpet bagger in my eyes.

I became a fan in 1978 and some of that was because 2 of my close childhood friends loved the Steelers. I still hate that team. If anything has changed, It's my hatred for the Eagles is more than the Steelers. Obviously, I can't stand the Giants and Commanders either but it's Philadelphia that I hate the most. I love it when the Eagles lose. I enjoy the misery that their fans live with

During the Romo years it always felt like fans were in defensive mode. Now with Dak/Zeke the chest is sticking out a little more. Morale seems to be up with the young guns around here.
Opposite. I employ the Parcells philosophy....with a dash of Denny Green. You gotta put in work for me. One year does not win me over.
