Whats On Your Draft Menu?

Can I have directions to your house?

Absolutely! LOL! I actually have one of those wives that likes it when we plan to have people over. It's just guinea pigs for her culinary concoctions. She plays it off like she's slaving ("Oh God, I'm going to br cooking all day!") but she loves it when her ideas are a hit (she never fails to remind me for the next week or so how much everyone liked her.... fillin the blank.......dish). She loves the adoration (plus she's easy on the eyes, so I never have a shortage of "guests"). LOL.

Actually the mango based salsa that she makes was something she just threw together one day and it's been a family favorite ever since.

Mangos diced

crushed pineapple

mushed up passion fruit

mushed frozen strawberries reduced with water and sugar (for the "tomato" effect of salsa), then "pressed" (discarding the "liquidy stuff") as to not make the whole thing a slurry of mess.

mixed up in a big bowl chilled and served. GREAT STUFF!

It's awesome with all kinds of foods (served over chicken breast, scooped with graham crackers, and obviously for a different spin on "shrimp dip". Also really good with coconut shrimp as a dipping concoction).

I'm a lucky guy, but she can be a little high maintanence sometimes. Luckily the "price" is hardly ever financially based. She's one of those "my needs" types. Which wouldn't be bad if her needs ended in the bedroom (kiddin). LOL. Unfortunately, her needs always seem to conflict with my tee times. So, I bought her a set of golf clubs. ;)

In all seriousness, I'm blessed to have her. She's been great to me.
