With all the schoolin Garrett's gotten, he should be educated enough to get us there.

He doesn’t learn from his mistakes though, only rationalizes them, so he keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. Example: we lost to GB and Aaron Rogers in the last seconds one year, then the VERY NEXT year Garrett again made some bone head coaching mistakes at the end of the game to allow Rogers to again come back and beat us in the last few seconds.

The only thing stopping us from a Super Bowl are four teams: the E-girls and three teams in the playoffs. As goofy as it sounds, ANY team can get hot---this happened with one of Landry's Wild Card teams in the 1970s that really did not have as much talent as the teams they beat. It only takes a win over the E-girls and three straight. Yes, it can be done. I don't know if this team can do it, but much stranger things have happened in sports.

Doubt it but yes it could happen.

Dude - what in the world? I am right down the line with your skepticism. My post of "US" stopping us from the SB is in that vein. In other other words, since you're having difficulty gleaning the appropriate meaning of the one-word post- allow me to clarify:

The Cowboys biggest problem is themselves - whether it be a talent, (or lack thereof), coaching, front office,Ownership or motivation and immaturity on the part of the players issue or a combination of the above. No where in that post am I excited about the chances of progressing to the SB or even the playoffs as there are too many indicators that it won't happen.

How in God's name do you come off:

1. Misinterpreting the post so inaccurately?
2. Feeling like your reply was the least bit constructive had your wrongly perceived meaning even been correct?

Enjoy taking shots at those you perceive to be inferior to yourself? That's a pretty strong indication of an emotional security or self-aggrandizement issue. Enjoy your day - surely there are others you an find to throw rocks at while adding nothing to a conversation.

Likewise, I don’t understand how you got so bent out of shape about my reply to a one word response that can have several different interpretations which you clarified the second time, not the first. What’s stopping us? Seriously? We just out coached an 8-7 team, we destroyed the Rams. Garrett just took McVay to school and people are still complaining. Super Bowls don’t come cheap, what more do you want?

1. Not getting penalties against our opponents
2. Being scared to go for it on 4th down
3. Consistently being put at a disadvantage with our HC
4. Our LB play has been atrocious this year
5. We aren't getting lucky bounces that turn into turnovers like our competition has
6. Our ST is the worst in the league by far
7. Consistency in the run game

Some can be fixed and looked good in the Rams games, other things can't

I may be from a different time than you, my friend. A time when all responses were devoid of barbs and condensation. You alluded to "bi-polar" conditions while admittedly not knowing the intent or or interpretation of the post. It's a different world - where people sit behind keyboards and rather than adding or being constructive - find more satisfaction in snarky remarks - then instruct others to "lighten up" or "get over it." This is what passes for "fun" these days, I suppose ..

You need to beat 4 winning record teams in a row to win the Suoer Bowl. There's a chance that the Rams end up 8-8 and if that happens, the Cowboys will not even have the valuable experience of beating one all season.

It's possible the only way they are going to beat a winning record team is if they lose to the Eagles next week. They might want to consider throwing it.

Nonsense, they had a winning record when we played them. We're great now!
