What's the best cooler on the market

People spending $500+ for coolers need a lobotomy.

$58

I have that same cooler (two actually) we take them camping with us every time we go (usually about 4 days). They're not on the level of Yeti or some of the other brands but I've never been out of ice at the end of the trip. Now, don't get me wrong, by the end of the 4 days you've got quite a bit of cold water but there's always plenty of ice in there. No way I'm spending $3-500.00 on a ******* cooler.

you aint kidding, he dominated heads up but to be fair, Ott couldn't catch a hand

did you stay up late enough to watch it all?

No - just saw the highlight this morning on ESPN. Just looking at the highlight you posted and the one from ESPN today, the guys that lost those hands just had bad luck. If you look at their hands, I don't think their bets were wrong.

The real question is, by the end of the trip, how much beer is left, Scalper? :)

That, my friend, would be empty on the gas gauge meter. I always make sure that everyone gets absolutely **** faced on the last night for two reasons:

A: I don't have to get up as early to start making breakfast
B: All the liquor is consumed so no one is tempted to start drinking on pack up day and gets a DUI (or worse) on the drive back down the mountain.

Me neither! My wife and daughter didn't get that memo on Christmas or on Fathers day, so I have two of them. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to suffer with my two Yeti coolers.

No shame in that brother. I've always told my family that the best gift you could give someone (materialistically) is something they'd love to have but would never buy for themselves. Looks like you made out well, brother.

Hell if I saw a Yeti cooler under the Christmas tree, ain't no way I'm turning my nose up to that ****! Thank you and Merry Christmas! Haha.

Whoever makes them already full!

Nice, sounds like your Wife is a keeper and whomever marries your Daughter, or is married to your Daughter, has struck gold! Congratulations Brother!

Hell yeah, Scalper!!

I thought Ott played terrible once he got to one-on-one. Yes, the cards were pretty bad but it isn't so much about that but more playing your opponent when in final two.

There were numerous times he could have won a pot if he just bet something, my wife called him the "check king". He played way too tight IMO.

Didn't watch it. Only saw the first video of the guy sitting on ace/10 with an ace/10 on the river. What are the odds the other guy has both aces? One the last hand, there was a 93% chance he would lose. He could only win if he drew a 2 ..... and he drew a 2.

I don't like Hesps check raise shove with A10 suited at all, he didn't have to lose that much on the hand and I think most good players would have lost MUCH less. In fact, I probably would have folded the A10 pre flop. I realize that's tight but if you think about it, he's likely behind most early position raisers and IIRC, Blumstein raised under the gun which is typically a tight range of cards for most people to open with; KQ suited is about the only hand I would expect A10 to be ahead of in that situation.

More importantly, he had a huge stack and given his lack of experience, he needed that big stack to scare others and absorb his inevitable errors. He and Blumstein could punish the short stacks mercilessly as long as Hesp avoided the only person who could damage his stack. Unfortuntely he didn't and thats exactly what happened. Kudos to Hesp though, he grinded his short stack to a 4th place finish which is about where I think he would have finished had he preserved his big stack.

Given the litany of errors I saw Hesp make, which he had to have made all throughout the tourney, it makes his run all the more miraculous. He's the poster boy for the phrase "fish on a heater" but I love him!

Yeah, I can deal with some water after 4 days. Also, I don't want to have to worry all the time about someone stealing my cooler.

Full of Pabst Blue Ribbon??
Side story that nobody asked for, but my brother, sister and I got together with our families for a weekend in southwest Colorado and rented a cabin a couple weeks back. We ran out of beer about halfway through and went to the local liquor store and bought a 30 of PBR. Hadn't had it in a while, but it was the cheapest decent beer. Like $17 I think. I thought, "This should last the rest of the weekend."

Well, we were out of beer by the next morning. That's some easy drinking swill.

As for the cooler, I have a Wal-mart version of the Yeti, not certain of the brand name. Ozark Trail, I think. The big one cost less than two bones. My brother-in-law has a yeti. We used both for a recent outing and they performed similarly.
