I really don't know much about him. Who has watched him play? Do you want him here? Where is he drafted? Please share your thoughts!

I heard he took an entire building hostage on Christmas until Bruce Willis pushed him off the roof.

No wait, that was "Die Hard". In the real world Prescott was a three year starter known for his leadership, who has one citation that hasn't gone to Court yet.

The Mississippi police have seen him more than anyone. Call them.

Yup. Kid can't stay out of trouble and I think he's too much of a project on the field

No clue why are coaches even sniffed his way

What are you guys even talking about? Do you have access to some sort of history of arrests that no one else has for him or just talking nonsense?

To me, Prescott is a sleeper in this draft. He has steadily progressed and is known for his leadership. He was a chucker just a couple of years ago, but last year he showed some real progress as a passer.

I don't know if I'd have faith in him as the heir apparent, but there's plenty to like. The DUI is a concern as well, of course.

Cowboys thought enough of him to bring him in for a visit. Don't be surprised if they draft him.

He got pulled over for a DUI March. Test was inconclusive, but it was a minor red flag nonetheless. Stupid to put yourself in that situation.
I assume the joke was about that...

I don't know about us drafting him, but I think character is one the LAST things anyone would worry about with this guy.
His leadership and character are considered his strongest assets.

He got voted the national CLASS award winner, given to the most exemplary student athlete...in and out of class.
He got voted to the SEC Good Works Team

etc

He's certainly not a problem guy.

This is exactly right...I'm an Ole Miss fan, so I've seen a lot of Dak. Character is without question...so is his leadership. The DUI was a college thing...I'm lucky not to have a few myself. He's a tough dude that plays hard. However, he is definitely a project. Accuracy is questionable at times...though it's not bad for the college game, I'm not sure it will develop that much in the NFL. The Tim Tebow comparisons are right on point (he's not quite the leader that Tim was, and I don't think he is as good a runner, but he is a little more accurate). Personally, I don't think he's a fit for Garret's offense and believe he would be better suited for Carolina or another team that moves it's QB around. I'd rather have Connor Cook (though I'm in the minority about what I think of him) or maybe even take a late flyer on Jeff Driskel (believe he has better chance to round out the accuracy needed for NFL).

I go nowhere near the wheel if ive had drinks, but anyone who judges a young kid that gets a dui is just a hypocrite. Everyone has used bad judgement at some point, many just grew up before learning a hard lesson.

From what I've read we have met this kid 4-5 times now. I'm not going to lie, I think Jerry is obsessed with trends and sees Dak as a trend. Remember Quincy? Jerry thought having a running QB who had some flash in college would work out because there were some teams going that direction with "athlete" at QB. Even though he is 6'2 and not small, I think Jerry sees him as a project or a gamer like Wilson for Seattle and makes the comparison that way. I'm not saying Jerry brings race into the mix by comparing black QBs, I just think Jerry creates his own comparisons and if the meeting rumors are true, they are enamored with the kid. I do like Dak's confidence from what I watched but think he is raw.

In some regards I wouldn't mind drafting him, in others I am not so sure. I wouldn't really complain if we used the 4th round comp pick. But would feel a bit uneasy if we used the 3rd round pick.

Prescott is same height and weight as Romo is.

So basically you question the two things that make QB's successful. I think I'll pass. No pun intended.

His accuracy is greatly improved, he is light years better mechanically than Tebow and the talent he was working with wasn't exactly Ohio St or Alabama level. His performance at the Senior Bowl showed he is capable of playing at a high level. I would love him in round four, but there are rumours that Elway is a fan of the kid.
