What's the story on Stanback???

He was pretty far behind in the preseason due to his injury. He also was running incorrect routes during our last game of the preseason. Wade and company said he wouldn't be used as a punt returner either, that he was more of a kick returner.

With Glenn being out for the first half of the season, this would be the time to let Stanback show us what he can do.

I can't imagine a guy running a 100 meter in the 10.4 range (same as Ginn and Hester) and running a 4.6 forty being accurate. He's probably in the 4.4 range and at his size, that's pretty fast.

Personally, I can't imagine anyone who ever saw Stanback play at UW EVER thinking he was slow.

yeah because those two fourth rounders of Canty and Stanback are severly underproducing for their draft status...........

I understand that. However, I thought he would be active for insurance purposes in case of injury during the game. (Crayton or whoever). That would leave us with three wides if that happened. Either way, I was just wondering.
