What's with this feigned ignorance about the PI call?

The hold on the shoulder that takes the receiver off stride and prevents him from jumping for the ball was well executed, but it is still there for all to see. They played a great angle on it last night (the one you're not seeing on all the talk shows) and yet Collinsworth acted like it was insignificant. I know the media loves to generate conflict and controversy but c'mon now,,,

I don't think it should have been pass interference either. It was a ticky tack call to me. But we'll take it. :)

When I first saw the play...I contended that Williams should have caught the ball anyway. I felt like he should have ran through and high pointed the ball. But when I saw the reverse camera angle...DRC deliberately impeded Williams ability to run through the route and high point the ball. So it ABSOLUTLEY was the right call.

Thought the refs missed the one earlier in the game when Dez was grabbed in the endzone. You get some right in the game and you get some wrong. Usually balances out.

I've watched the play many times and see none of what you're talking about. There was no hold, no impeding. It was a terrible call, and I love it.

If you watch Cromartie's left hand too, he hooks it under Williams arm as Williams is making his cut to stay with him. If anything it could have been a holding call. I hate PI because it's such an inconsistent call.

A runner needs to move his arms to actually run....he was held on the top of his shoulder...which prevented him from running through the route...which is WHY....Williams did not get to the spot he needed to be at

TWill just wasn't in position to catch it with his body and thats the only reason he didn't catch it, the DB played it perfectly

Except for the part that he wasn't held.

Forget about all that.

NO CONTACT after five yards.

That call was really ticky tacky. You're allowed to grab the shoulder or put your hand on their waist as long as you don't turn them. He didnt turn him at all. Dallas got 4 free points there for sure.

Some of you guys are blind as bats. Like the OP said the grab prevented Terrance from making his leap for the ball. I could cover a WR if I was allowed to do that.
