So giving up the edge all night and secondary out of position, DTs not containing their gaps and looking downhill had nothing to do with it......ok.

Man the DT's were put in a "Choose your fate" and left to dry by the rest of the defense, once the NY staff saw that it was game on.. let Clark and Q choose a direction and run over everyone else.

you dont scheme, you play with what works. Harbaugh went back to the basics. Run hard, Dart throws to who he trusts. we had zero response. They bullied us.

yup it was easy to see the NY staff had a plan.. your DT's wont wreck this game.. once they boxed them it was katy bar the door.. the FB had MANY 1v1 blocks on DE's i mean if it was not us getting whooped it would've been my favorite offense to watch yesterday. it was a clinic.

Agreed. I really like Schottenheimer but we used Eberflus as the scapegoat too much for 2025. Your HC primary job is to coach the coaches. He didn’t do a very good job of supporting Eberflus. Now he has a rookie DC who is going to have growing pains of his own and needs support. I’m actually shocked they didn’t bring in an old DC retread who has at least called plays at this level to work with CP. without doing so Shotty kinda volunteered for that role.

Even though shotty is an offensive guy he’s accountable for results of all three units, not just one.

Hes also accountable for having the players ready to play.

He didnt.

Hes also accountable for penalties. He isnt.

Stop making excuses for this fraud of a HC.

I turned the game off when he didnt go for it on 4th and inches.

...here's the benefit of the doubt. They had NO tape on NYG with Hardball all new coaches and players.

They probably assumed situations would occur, here n there. That explained some dudes left wide open, from back end to flats in backfield.

Im ok with Shotty, CP debut was scary bad. I cant believe right now, he's that bad. Gonna be a week, of very high criticism for CP.

this week 1 is notorious for overreactions, but... after last year the defense is a "sensitive issue"..lol. Hell this could boil down to we just ran into an emotional buzzsaw in a NY team where the moment was perfect for what happened. They may not replicate that offense the rest of the season.. or they could go 17-0 who knows..
