He might be a pretty decent 3-T.

My guess is if they see him as a 3 Tech he is pretty high on their board. Intirior rush in this defense is more crucial the edge rush. 3 Techs in variants of a Tampa 2 style defense are high coveted

Buckner to me is a run down strong side DE that could provide some pass rush ability in base D if a team passes on normal run downs. He kicks inside in subpackages ( which is usually well over 60 percent of our snaps) I think he rushes from the 3 Tech spot mostly with Crawford moving over to the 1 Tech in subs. I like Crawfords ability to rush from that spot more Buckners.

Buckner would improve the defense in both the run game and pass if he is drafted by us. At DE I think he would be a monster on run downs, and while it may take a year for him to become a finisher, I believe he would be very disruptive in subpackages as a rusher.

IMO he would be a fine pick at #4. I like what he could be able to do inside more then Bosa

You know, I'm OK with Buckner at 4 too. If the team really doesn't want to go Zeke, and is intent on DE, I'd much rather have Buckner than Bosa. Buckner is already a disruptive player, and with his upside, the sky is the limit.

At least with Buckner you get the ability to rush inside, as well as the major impact in the run game. I think he had something like 30 tackles more than Bosa last year?

I think Buckner could make the strong side a no run zone day 1 as a 2 down LDE. Kicking him inside ( which would essentially be his primary spot since we play most downs in subpackages) I think he could be very difficult to block once Marinelli teachs him to stay lower.

I think people would cry that we took a " non pass rushing DE at 4" but wont realize a majority of his time he will ve inside, even if he is our " starting LDE "

I wouldn't be upset with Bucker, but I think the reason people aren't talking about him for the Cowboys is the fact that he's 6'7", so the assumption is he's a 3-4 fit.

Count How tall was Too Tall Jones not in anyway comparing the two just curious

He would be a bad fit for Dallas. Especially as a top 10 pick. If Ramsey is there we should pick him. No ifs or buts.

Few people on this site are impressed with any of the top ten non QBs unless it Zeke. I like Zeke but would need to trade no way I take him at 4.

Might not have a trade partner unless Tunsil is there at #4. If no trade partner, I would take Zeke before all the others in a heartbeat and laugh
all the way to the bank.

No way Jose... Ramsey is a good athlete but, no so good CB. Read Brugler's and Broaddus' report on him. Bad hips and can't
play catch up on the long ball. Ramsey is no sure thing!

We'd better get it right.

Personally, I would trade down.

I think that's the one thing most fans agree on
I think trading down a few spots is the best outcome
Not sure it's a really possibility but would be the best outcome

He is slow off the ball which will really magnified in the NFL. IMO he will be servicable but nothing special. Hope I am wrong.
