I think all the brownies and other goodies that Winicki sends him in those special you're the best drew baskets are starting to weigh Drew down and slow his play....but that is only a theory.

Posts like these tic me off. Nothing is wrong with Drew. (Philly and Seattle double teamed Glenn.) A lot of teams are pressuring the WR's and double teaming them to take that aspect of the game away and it is having some effect.

Once the running game is able to open up again, then the passing game will come back stronger.

There is nothing wrong with Drew He is human and had a few slightly off games. Pressure can hurt, but as the announcers even said, he had pressure in his face all day and was still able to make plays.

The further into the season, the more pressure we are going to face.

Yes Operation Leadbelly.

But I give you credit where credit is due...it is a brilliant plan as you know drew would not eat from an exotic cheese basket with all of Bills don't eat the cheese speeches.

On a serious note...drew and the O-line have not looked good the past two games. I think the lack of true EXP on the bookends at their positions have made the play calling conservative and pulled the number of WRs, and to an extent Witten, out of the passing game.

So although I may not care for it, I can understand it some....however even with that drew has to play better....he has missed some open targets and if we are going to play conservative he has to hit those plays. We have scaled back the offense due to the line so he has to take advantage of the plays he gets.

Now...quit with operation Leadbelly as he does not need that extra burden on, or in, him. ;)

OK...

Only out of my love for you (BTW did you get YOUR basket?) will I stop this assault. ;)

True... but we need to play better.
Mikey, yes, of course we need to play better. All around.

But all week the consensus was what we needed to accomplish more than anything this week was run and stop the run. Well, I think we had about 150 rushing yards, and they had fewer than 60. Come on, weren't you thrilled by the first two run plays with JJ running right?

I don't get the funereal ambiance here.

It's always a little like 'yeah we won, but we didn't in the way I wanted us to win" I just have to attribute to fantasy football thinking - simply because I can't explain it otherwise.

"I had Price and/or Glenn on my FF team so I'm ticked".

"Those 150 yards suck because running back by committee don't do it in MY league".

"Woe is me. Drew's passer rating went down".

"Witten ignored too much again".

"Why don't we involve Price more?"

All these type comments stink of selfish FF me-ism to me.

We do need to play better, but in the areas we DO play better, like the crucial run stop and run game, there is little celebration, or even kudos.

Someday we the fans are going to be as unselfish as the players we are lucky enough to have.

I just don't know how long it is going to take. ;)

Hey, I agree on how good we were rushing the ball and defending the run. Those were terrific segments of the team.

And Cundiff deserves a BIG thumbs up!

Reasonable as always.

Agreed if we are going to play conservatively, Drew needs to be more accurate on the passes he is putting behind the receiver, over the head, or on the ground.

But he isn't exactly getting optimum opportunity to get a rhythm going either.

Why is any one suprised Bledsoe has never been accurate in his career his career % is roughly 56% no suprise.

Bledsoe has also not been dumping the ball as quick or as often as early in the year; he is starting to hold on to it longer looking for that big play. You saw it several times today.

If you can get to Bledsoe a few times and hit him he gets rattled eaiser than some guys he gets those happy feet he has had spurts of happy feet the last few games.

And the critical ones were in the secondary, which we didn't seem to try all that hard to exploit.

What was the deepest pass completed today. A 15 yarder?

The only pass down the field that I remember was the deep throw to Price near the end of the first half that fell incomplete.

Bledsoe is at 60+% completion on the year, even in the terrible win on Monday, he completed over 60% of his passes
