Whats wrong with Drew?

The QB needs time to go down field.

We aren't providing that time very often.

Our Oline worries me.

Teams know we want to go deep to Glenn, do you think that they aren't trying to stop that ?

The second half of a season is always more difficult. The Defensive coaches have had time to study your schemes and have made their adjustments to stop you.

That's when it is time for all good QB's to step up and make the same adjusments to his own game. You cannot not waste a down with overthrows, bad decisions, happy feet in the pocket, and mediocre play.

The QB's that win championships will make quick decisive throws before they are decimated. Leaders that make the adjustments to adversity will prevail and those that don't, lose.

The same applies to coaches.

Excuse me, I had to get that off my chest.......had to vent a little..lol

but c'mon, the Lions were w/o their top 3 corners, if Detroit figured out how to stop Bledsoe in that situation, then we're in a load of trouble lol

Bledsoe is at 60+% completion on the year, even in the terrible win on Monday, he completed over 60% of his passes

yes he has had a few seasons before where he had 60% but his overall career is not good. Even in his years he completed 60% plus he had games where he was inaccurate. That is Bledsoe's MO. So Bledsoe being erratic in his throw is not a surprise week to week. I think the Eagles set the template to beat us and was kicking Dallas's arse before the choke.

Run the ball on Dallas it can be done and that is what worries me about Denver. Second double Glen and box in Witten. The oline run blocking is not consistent and is struggling and has struggled all year so Dare Keyshawn to beat you in the passing game

YeaH -

Bledsoe is now 16-6 past 2 seasons running.

Teams have him all figured out. 94 QB rating - not great today but he didn't pull a VT - and fire up 4 turnovers.

We won 20-7 - you complainers are funny. Best was people today *****ing about our defense! Yes, they gave up a TD - lol

I agee. The defense played very well-- again.

Patrick Crayton maybe? He became a go to guy this year. I think that Bledsoe probably has a bit mroe trust in his blindside with a Pro Bowler there rather than Tucker, but thats jsut MO

I called something wrong as well in multiple threads...

ESPN reporting JJ said Drew suffered a mild concussion. I suspect Petitti as well....

Drew has had a history of concussions. Mild or not it's something to take seriously. He's great on the QB sneak because of his size but it's a risky play because he leads with his head (not that this was how he got this one).

This game, with the high running numbers, despite low passing numbers, could be helpful as we go on to face Denver. Now they have to guard the run. And hey, 7-3 with the highest rated QB in the NFC (still) is ok with me.

we're just prepping for the time of year, where throwing the football for great success is nearly impossible

i'll stop short of openly accusing Parcells of "holding back" something for Denver - but 42 runs and 23 passes...?

if we don't see something of a Cowboys aerial circus come T-Day - i'll be more than a li'l surprised....

I don't think Bill was holding back as much as taking advantage of the way the game unfolded to work on the running game and get JJ back up to speed.

They did not need to air it out. Our defense and time of possession dictated this kind of game from an old school coach. He knew he could win with the plan today early in the first quarter and kept to it.

However, he is being rushed some and also rushing his passes period as well as throwing off the back foot a little too much for me.

Parcells took the win but I hope he gives Bledsoe enough reps to get his rhythm done and perhaps get Price a little more into the game.

For those who wonder about Price; he isn't going to play much in a game like today with max protection and run, run and run some more.

He was not sharp today and appeared to be hurried. He was hit a lot and I wonder if he was groggy? He esacped a knee barely...

Still - no critical mistakes - we won 20-7. Very conservative game plan.

No concussion post in this thread yet - my post was before 5:00
