What's wrong with Watkins?

I have been saying Watkins will be our man all year.

I wouldnt mind if we brought in a FA to give him another year to grow but I am hoping he gets better this off season and we can trust him in the upcoming season.

As others said, some better coaching along with a pass rush and he'll be great.

I am all about drafting a CB in the 1st round so if we can get lucky with a good find then letting Henry play some FS wouldnt hurt. He was playing through an injured knee (?) which expains why he seemed like a sloth.

I don't like Henry @ FS, but I am on board with our very first pick being a corner. Maybe someone like Hughes, or Hall.

I know you are a big Henry fan, but don't let that stand in the way of evaluating talent.

If he's too slow to play corner, why in the world would you want to move him to FS?

i want you to run top speed for 100 yds.....

then i want you to injure your knee and run at top speed for 100 yds....

I am willing to bet the second timed speed will be slower by at least a second or two.......

give Henry a healed knee and watch him kick butt again like he was doing prior to his groin injury last year.

Henry isn't able to play straight man coverage [unless he's 10 yards off at the snap, then he gives up all the underneath routes] and any routes over 20-30 yards, he gets toasted because he doesn't have any speed.

Some of you guys want to put him in at FS/Safety. But that's just as bad.

How is he going to be able play Cover-1/Cover-2 if he cant run?

You are comparing two different skill sets that really have very little to do with one or the other. At CB, you are locked on a guy and run with him,, in man. At FS, you have very little one on one.. except on blitzes and stuff, but most of the time, you are reading the QB and getting a jump on the ball. Kinda like a center feilder that don't have world class speed but never gets a ball over his head,, he sees the ball and runs to the spot.. if Henry has this ability.. then he dont need CB speed. Since he had 10 int as a FS early in his career,, I would think he would be a good candidate to do it again in Dallas.

Henry played FS on atleast 1 play in the Detroit game, and was in perfect position to make an interception in the endzone, just dropped it. I'll put it this way, if Henry being at FS is better than anything we currently have, then let's get er done, and vice versa.
