Currently I don't play any, but in the past I have played Age of Conan, World of Warcraft & Runescape. Presently I just play Assassins Creed Brotherhood, Starcraft II and Madden 11. But i'm looking to startup a new MMORPG, and if I can't find one I like ill go back to AoC, though making a thread to see what you guys play would give me a good idea of popular mmorpgs now(besides wow).

I play EVE from time to time but ultimaly bore of it because I'm primarily a PVE person.

Other than EVE I've played EQ2, WoW, LoTRO, Anarchy Online, Vangard and a few others.

As you can tell from the other thread I'm really looking forward to Rift. The next open beta event starts on February 15th. You should get a beta key and play it next week.

Where do I get a beta key? I guess its worth a try.

Are you a person who knows how to close a deal? Does competing in a marketplace with 2,000 transactions a minute pique your interest?
Are you looking for a game where one can build a legacy as a financial market leader, CEO of a company or even just the main guy to go to for the best arms deals in New Eden?
Huge universe wide player driven market-place - intense research and production system - constantly evolving economy.

has always peaked my interest, but im guessing most of the important spots are long filled

I got mine from FilePlanet.

Thanks im debating going into Eve or trying Rift, i've always loved Sci-fi stuff and Eve looks like the creme of the crop, I was going to play star trek online but that looks like EVE lite.

not even close you can do what ever you want in Eve, i mostly just pirate

The biggest problem with Eve is the vertical learning curve if you can get trough the incredibly tough start without losing interest you'll find your niche

Classic EQ. Currently I'm playing very sparingly on a free emulator of EQ that is the 1999 old world only, just because I miss playing but don't play enough for it to be worth buying a subscription to real EQ.

We did WoW beta, Lin2 beta and Vanguard beta, but nothing has ever grabbed me like EQ.

You'll get tired of all this goofy stuff once you get laid.

I'm looking forward to Star wars the old republic. I tried star trek online and was largely disappointed.

It's gonna be really really really good, or really really really bad, depending on what you read/see about it.

Bioware games are almost always really really good, this is their first MMO though so who knows if that continues with SW:TOR
