yeah when I dl'ed it I discovered all my accounts were active. Pretty neat. They have an easy patcher/DL on their website only took like 20 minutes to Dl/install *6.5 gigs*

The new server opens up today at like noon est I think.

If you plan on playing lemme know I'll try to grab a name or two if you want them.

I doubt I will. Too much time to invest in something I don't want to pay for, and their goal is to get people to resubscribe, obviously. I barely have time to level on the emulator. heh

I installed it and got my invite. I will check this out.

My biggest problem is I burnout on these games pretty quickly.

I played the Civilization V demo last night. It's pretty cool.

I have never been a fan of RTS games because I truly hate resource building where you spend half an hour preparing for battle and only 10-15 minutes battling. I love strategic battles but the planning/developing stage is way boring to me.

I know exactly what you mean. I spend all the time building up, then the battle is quick and it's over. Then I look back and think, do I want to do all that again? No. Burnout.

Of course, I burnout on most games quickly. The only ones I can play over long periods of times and the fast and furious FPS games. Quake series, BFBC2, etc.

Same thing with the mobile games. Basically, I've only found two games that I will play for more than a couple of weeks. Solitaire and Angry Birds. Of course, I've beat Angry Birds getting three stars on every level, so now I don't even play that. There is nothing left to do!

I've played it before. It was okay for a bit, but that game suffers from extreme monotony. If I ever had to mine ore again, I would throttle someone! :laugh2:

True but there is a ton of different things to do in the game, although they all get repetitive quickly.

I played City Of Heroes the last about 6 years which is totally different; I also did Horizons which had some things correct but their engine was so bad on rendering that they had performance issues.

DC universe I skipped when they made it for xbox etc type play they had to dumb it down quite a bit to make it work with a controller.

I've made a couple of attempts over the last couple of days to play on the new EQ1 progression server. The game just hasn't aged very well. It sure was fun back in the day though.
