I also have tinnitus. The very first time I realized it I thought it was my car radio. lol Now it's like an old friend.

I usually sleep with the TV on. I can't lay in the dark in complete silence and just fall asleep, I need to watch something until I'm eased off into dreamland. I have an app that does the rain sounds with thunder, I'll do that on occasion also.
