They already extended him, he isn't available.Carolina doesn't have a QB. Why would they want to pay a #1 WR? He probably wants to leave.

Anyone is available. When the Panthers signed him to that extension , they didn't know they would be one of the worst teams in the league and fire their head coach midseason. That team is in full rebuild mode. Perfect time to give them a call. They already extended him, he isn't available.
They’re picking top 10ish and are likely getting a new QB this year.Anyone is available. Teams reached out during the trade deadline and told them he wasn't available, new HC isn't going to trade away his best receiver.Anyone is available. That is not necessarily true. Frank Reich just got there and he announced at his first presser that he would like /prefer a dual threat Qb to run an RPO option. What good is DJ Moore going to do? I think we would be stupid not to make the phone call and inquire. We send them the 26th pick and inherit his contract......... might sound like music to the ears of team trying to rebuild. They’re picking top 10ish and are likely getting a new QB this year.
If they wanted a pick for him and to move on they likely would’ve already done it.
Frank Reich just walked into the building. What was said during the seasons trade deadline isn't relevant.Teams reached out during the trade deadline and told them he wasn't available, new HC isn't going to trade away his best receiver.
It could change, but ownership/gm are the same. They are the ones who have that power, not their HC.Frank Reich just walked into the building. What was said during the seasons trade deadline isn't relevant.
Frank Reich is an offensive coach. They hired him to rebuild the offense. Based on his comments, it is not clear at all if he covets DJ Moore. It could change, but ownership/gm are the same. They are the ones who have that power, not their HC.

Tough year to need one but the need is near the top if not the top need. Not much in FA-Lamb has earned himself an extension and he should be getting one in the near future.
-Gallup has an out in his contract after next season, came back too early and was a shell of his former self.
-Brown was a miscast as a starting receiver and probably price himself off the roster now.
-Hilton most likely won't return and go back to being retired.
-Tolbert/Semi-haven't produced much at all since they were drafted.
Needs
-Team needs a legitimate #2 receiver opposite Lamb.
-Depth has to improve as our backup receivers gave the team virtually nothing.
Free Agency/Draft
-Very weak free agent class, wr's in the draft are reportedly deep, but lack any elite prospects
-Trade Market-Hopkins (will cost a high pick and we have to resign him), Cooks (Huge contract), Jeudy (High draft pick, have his option next yr)
Beckham is probably the best fa WR available, Cooks/Juedy will cost a day 2 pick. Can use 26 to land a starting wr, but they will need some development.
My plan would be signing Beckham and a player like Randall Cobb, who shouldn't cost much now.
I think Schultz is gone but I think the 3 left can be pretty solid. Each seems to be a bit different from the other so seem to fill different needsGotta also remember that there will IMO be a renewed effort to focus on the run game and reduce throws
Also important about who the TEs are going to be since they will need to share
Ideally we draft one though this draft is not as deep as some have been in recent yearsIf he's like every other fairly young WR that hurt his ACL, Gallup will be much better next year. So that helps.
But they should DRAFT a WR (or two) if the value is there--whatever round that may be.
Believe Beckman is the favorite if they go the fa route, Cooks can definitely be had, but he has a big contract, Hopkins the same and he wants a huge extension. Juedy could be the wild card as Denver needs picks. Although, have him 1 yr, before an extension is needed, drafted the same yr as Lamb.Tough year to need one but the need is near the top if not the top need. Not much in FA
Trading for one is about the only option
Cooks is always availible lol Jeudy is interesting and Hopkins could be available and could be the cheapest pick wise plus he has 2 years on his contract. That is at 16 mil though
I hate trading for a guy you then have to sign since they have all the leverage
I can’t shake the lack of confidence I have in Smith’s health. And he may be fine but I just watched too many seasons that injuries were an issue. I think we need an upgrade with McGovern anyway. That’s just meThat would make a lot of sense, if Tyron is released and Steele returns.
Agree, need a starting guard to replace McGovern, but who plays RT if Steele has to miss 4-8 games coming back from injury?I can’t shake the lack of confidence I have in Smith’s health. I think the injury to Steele saved Tyron's roster spot.OK gotcha agreed
If they're really switching to a WCO they need more than just a #2. They need at least three legit pass catchers with quickness, who run precise routes, get separation and run well after the catch.-Lamb has earned himself an extension and he should be getting one in the near future.
