That was brutal to read and still have no clue the point you're trying to make. No one want to read your long winded essay responses. Less is more

There's tons of video evidence through the years of him shying away from stepping up in the pocket and taking unnecessary sacks. You act like we want him to do it every time and be that "running" QB... he was never truly a running QB to start but I'll i'm simply saying is with the OL struggling, no run game, generic scheme; sometimes being the 60m man you need to step up, make plays and pick up the team momentum like you used too. He was great at extending drives but it's almost no ln existent now
Well said. I dont get why we have some people defending daknljke hes z littke school girl. He us a grown man....dallas cowboys nfl qb and highest paid player in all if footbal.

That HAS to come with demands and accountability...not baby protection and excuses.

if this is another knock on Prescott like he needs running to be great, no it would be nice if we had a mobile quarterback that can also throw and run an offense but in this case, he's just turned into a prototypical passing quarterback that runs on occasion...
Problem is he doesn't possess the skill set mentally or physically to be a strictly pocket passer at an elite level

There's a reason that his rookie year was arguably his best year (other than an all world O line and the leagues leading rusher)

He was able to use his legs a lot more to move the pocket and scramble for crucial yards when needed

Now that that aspect of his game is severely diminished, defenses adjust to force him to stand in the pocket and dissect a defense with pre snap reads and accurate ti Ely throws

What you often get instead is forced balls that are either off target, or late (or in some cases both)

Not "bashing" just giving an honest assessment

If he's not mobile anymore, then he needs to be better in other areas as mentioned earlier and he just doesn't have that ability. It's not who he is, or ever Will be

Just because my opinion of Dak has changed over the years does not make me a "hater". Also in general just because someone plays for my favorite team doesn't make make me automatically like them.

I've said numerous times through his early years he was the product of the environment around him. A bus driver that could win us a superbowl but will never be "that" guy to pick up the team. He was making strides prior to his injury however he has regressed and I no longer feel he can be that bus driver especially with the declining talent around him. His contract will probably go down as one of the worst in cowboys history imo

Legs seem to fall off quickly here. Go look at Zeke's highlights first 3 years and then watch him now lol. Henry is still going strong, drafted same year. Maybe a strength/conditioning thing, or just a culture thing who knows.

Just imagine if Dak could still run like this! I haven't seen this in a long time and was a little surprised.

Definitely doesn't have that speed now, but I think he can still run if he was a bit more decisive on when he chooses to. This is a big piece missing this year because the threat alone may hold a LB or s for an extra second.

It just seems hard to believe he would lose so many steps in a short time.

"This is what does better than anybody...". LOL...running, not passing.

As I said, he patterned his game after Tim Tebow in college. What respectable passer EVER said they wanted to emulate Tim Tebow?!?
