Well I'm pretty sure I've always been a Cowboy fan since the day I was born in September 25, 1988,

Jeez, I was thiry-five years old when you were born!

I remember the Cowboys as a new franchise. Had no choice because, as Willie said:

"My heros have always been cowboys."

I didn't "become" a fan, it's in my DNA, much like royalty...

cowboyeric8, you are a Cowboy fan for life!

My father taught me to be a Cowboy fan back in the year 1933...! ;)

So, I came out a Cowboy fan!

By the way...how's your football playing coming?

Oh it was good, we bot bronze at state. And I think I'm going to try and walk-on as a punter at Angelo State (if y'all know where that is).

born 10/2/90, always been raised by my parents as a Cowboys fan. (Actually, when my dad first came to U.S., he lived in San Fran, and he kinda sorta rooted for the 9ers. Then, he found out he hated them, ended up moving to Dallas in 1989, and ever since, we've been die-hard cowboys fans)

I became a "fan" during the days of Rocket Ismail.

1977 - I was 8 and just started getting into pro football.

(if I hadn't became a fan then, it would've most likely happened during the Rocket Ismail era)

Well, I'm a big Brock Berlin fan, and his path has led me to the Cowboys.

So, I guess the answer to your question would be, about 5 hours ago.

Thats cool, Rocket was awesome. I mean I loved Troy, Emmitt, and Mike and everything but I guess I just starting paying close attention when Rocket was playing and it was just something about him. A great adopted Cowboy. Wasn't he the guy that got hurt trying to block a linebacker and he weighs like 190? He played with heart, if he had size he would have been all-world.

I saw them lose the "Playoff Bowl" to the Baltimore Colts in 1965...I saw the star on the helmet and the announcer mention something about the world's fastest human being (Bob Hayes) and I was in love.:D

1964. Bob Hayes sold me on Dallas and I've been nuts every sense. Thank goodness. We were so spoiled in those days from 65 on. We missed the playoffs twice in eleventy seven years. It was how far would we go. Not would we go. It was winning the big one after getting by Cleveland. Then it was an every year deal. No SB win then we failed. We were the greatest team in sports.

Alright, here's my story.

I spent a few years in Washington DC when I was really young, and got there about the time my interests started swaying towards football. Our first year there the Commanders won the superbowl and everybody around was pretty happy. My dad however was born in Dallas and grew up a Cowboys fan since birth. He didn't push me into liking the Boys, I was just watching a game with him between the Boys and Skins and asked who my dad was routing for (since I knew the Commanders had won the superbowl, but I didn't really know who they were or really what the NFL was about) He told me Dallas and despite the surroundings I chose the Cowboys as my favorite team too, and as you know they won the SuperBowl that year and I got to wear my Cowboys gear to school and really tick people off. Fun times.

Well I'm pretty sure I've always been a Cowboy fan since the day I was born in September 25, 1988, we won that day by the way. And have never lost on my birthday since. But anway the day I really fell in love and started paying close attention was the opening day game against the Commanders where Troy rallied they back and threw a TD to Rocket in overtime. Sure I remember watching games before that but since I was so young I don't vividly remember. Before then I was just real yound and didn't really understand football other than I knew Troy Aikman was the best QB of all time. ha.

And the other day I walked into my room and realized, I have a serious problem, but its a good one. ha. Thats my room below. Its kind of hard to see, but that all started with one poster and has gone crazy ever since. And thats just 2 walls the others are just bad.

Well anyway, sorry its so long, just wondering when you knew you became a Cowboy fan.

I remember he sued the NFL for the right to buy the Dallas Franchise and then wrestled Lamar Hunt in a public match for who would stay in dallas, the Chiefs of the Cowboys.
Jerra Jones is the best.
