Thanks, Eeyore.

FWIW - I agree. A sense of community and getting to know fellow posters during a pathetically slow time of the year should be discouraged as much as possible. That's just the "in" the terrorists need.

Well put Roo !

1975 or so, I was in Grade 4 in Montreal. I liked the name Dallas and the star on the helmet. I really started to follow in 1977 when they won the SB. When I was in Montreal, I got to see a ton of the games on CBS as it was serviced by a Burlington Vermont station which gets Giants and a lot of Cowboys games (in that day).

Been a fan ever since.

Man I didn't realize some of you guys were so oooooold.

I was in the third grade when I read a biography on Staubach, it must of been wriiten the year after we won the Super bowl, because it reffered to the Cowboys as "WORLD CHAMPIONS", I didn't realize there was a new one every year, so naturally I was with the kings of the world.

I also remember having one of them lunch boxes with every helmet on it, I remember choosing the silver blue with star on it as my favorite. I also remember choosing the plain brown one with the words (bengals) spelled on the side as the Ugliest.

I always felt it was destiny due to the fact that I was born on January 23, 1972, which happened to be the day we won our first Superbowl over Miami 24-3.

WV, if you're asking about the bike in my sig pic, it's a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic. If, however, you're asking about the one in your post, I'd have to guess somewhere in the last 5 years.

The emblem on the tank on yours looks just like on my ACE (02), so I thought it was an ACE, that is why I asked what year because I couldn't really place it.

Nice looking bike.

Didn't really start being a fan until training camp in 1977. I remember watching the Cowboys play the Dolphins in Super Bowl VI (Jan 1972), I was only 4 years old so I didn't watch the entire game but I remember my Dad being real excited when the game was over. So I guess I'll be celebrating my 30 years of being a fan this coming training camp.

That's a nice bike...but! Nothing like a Harley...:D

When me and my friends go out crusing around, we sometimes stop at various hangouts, and we all carry some sandwich bags full of raw rice.

When we see a Japenese bike parked out front, we go scatter some rice underneath it and then go in and ask, "Hey, who owns that Honda outside?"

Someone will say, "I do, why"?

We tell him, "Well, it looks like something is leaking our from underneath!"

They rush outside to see what is leaking...then they come back in a little pissed off....then we all have a good laugh!

It's all good...

Why are Harley riders so obsessed with metric bikes ?

I don't get it.

Actually I lived in Houston and was an Oiler fan, my father in law was dying of cancer, I watched them to help entertain him and get his mind off what was to come, we shared the same birthday, next week as a matter of fact May 3, god I miss him, he was my best friend in the world, at any rate this was the year they totally sucked, 1-15, it didn't matter, it was the last time I spent with him. He was 55 and had just given his notice for retirement, he had a brand new 50 ft. RV parked in the driveway, it never left, you guys remember one thing life is sooo short, you only go around once, if you planned on going with somebody you care about to SA this year, don't miss it, you never know man. Sorry for the rant, he still watches them from above , guess thats why they still have a hole in Texas Stadium, Nelson I miss you buddy, happy birthday...
