When did you become a Cowboys fan?

While I remember watching SB12, it is vague. I vividly remember throwing a tantrum in the 81 title game. Good thing we didnt have a remote control back then. It would have gone into the TV screen.
That might be in my opinion, the most heart breaking loss during my long Dallas Cowboys Fandom. I still can't stand to see that high light to this day. Everson Walls was late in pass coverage on Dwight Clark and Joe Montana ripped our hearts out that day. Ever since then I want Dallas to destroy San Francisco when they play them.

Early 1990s. My family were Cowboys fans growing up, so it was passed down to me. I was 9/10 in 1990, so I was really starting to notice football and get into it....especially as those dynasty years came along.

Then watching them win, not just one Super Bowl but multiple Super Bowls, was an amazing feeling. I wore my Cowboys gear proudly to school and everywhere I went. I genuinely thought that feeling was just going to be part of being a Cowboys fan. Been waiting to reunite with that feeling ever since.

Still a fan. Still here. Still waiting…..all these years later.
