The late 60s.
1990 mid season when they started to gain traction and I lived in Austin. Still remember watching them lose against the Lions in the playoffs. I lived in Houston few years before this so I was an Oiler fan and band wagoned the 85 Bears. Hey I was a kid. That Super Bowl shuffle got me.When did you become a Cowboys fan?
1969 for me.
Hey Pops, us cool kids are taking 'Blue Chew' these days.Wow.....alot of Social Security, military pensions, disability checks and viagra in this crowd.
Keep trucking!
Respect
1964, they were really bad then, but turned it around quickly
I'd say around 1969.....
When did you switch over to the Giants?During the '77 season. My dad was a fan and I was 8 years old and started watching and rooting for them that season. After that, so close so many times but only heartbreak until finally bottoming out until the early '90's when Jimmy and the triplets dominated. Then Jerry's ego happened and 30 years of nothing.
As much as I loved the '90's teams and SB's, 'my Cowboys' were from the '77-'83 era. It would've meant everything to me to have seen them win another SB or 2 in that time period.
Fall, during the Pee Wee football seasonWas it the summer of 69?
