When do you guys recover?

The Cowboys are like a coma patient in a soap opera, you check in every now and then to see if they are out of the coma but after 15 years you start to assume they're as good as dead,,,, but you still check in just in case.

This team is stuck in a never ending cycle of only getting marginally better in each of its weak spots and when that weak spot is finally fully addressed new weak spots have emerged.

Im already over it.....unfortunately I've seen this movie before and it always has the same ending......Back in the day this loss would lasted til next Sunday...how times have changed.

Yeup....just the usual re-run for the last 18 years and counting. Elias dies well but after 20 times Platoon is just a pre-drug addicted Sheen flick bout Nam ..nothing to see just the same ol' shinola.

That's very well put. Too true

I am numb to losses with this regime.

Okay guys, this is a serious question.

After a loss, when have you fully recovered from it? Using myself as an example..
after this game...
Don't skip dinner but I do pout like a 6 year old
People look at me and walk away without talking to me
Don't come on this board at all util about tuesday.

Tomorrow:
people know enough not to talk to me at all until I speak first.
wont eat breakfast or lunch.

And then by tomorrow evening, I will eat a good dinner and get ready for Monday Night Football and will become less agitated. Then, by Tuesday AM, things will be back to normal....accepting the fact that my football team is a .500 team.

How long will it take you to get over this loss?

Pretty much the same as you with the bolded exceptions.

About 5 min after,i just don't get worked up over this team anymore idk if it's cause i am older or that i am just so used to mediocrity now that it doesn't bother me nearly as much as it did a few years back

thanks for your answer..I see your canine is named Dallas. My previous cocker spaniel (RIP) I named him "Dallas". My current cocker spaniel is named "Cowboy".
