When does Hardy become an option?

No market for him right now.

I don't want him back really BUT there will be a time that the value become too attractive.

What if he's base salary is $1 million and hard to reach incentives up to $5-10 million. To me that maybe too good to pass up.

What's YOUR threshold to take him back?

Well it's not my threshold. It's easy for me to say, "Oh bring him back for a cheap contract– he's better than anything else available."

But I'm not one of his teammates who had to put up with his BS.

I'm not one of his coaches who had to put up with his BS.

I'm not one of the higher-ups on the team who had to witness his BS and listen to others complain about his BS.

It's not as much a $ and cents question as it is a can his teammates, coaches and front office stand another year of his antics?

There many not be any price that's acceptable to any/all of those entities.

I keep seeing these posts that say there is no market for Hardy. I hope that is the case, I would expect that also. But no one knows what negotiations are happening, just like they didn't last year when Hardy showed up in Dallas the first day of FA when there had clearly been back channel communication.

If last year was acting up then I could put up with that forever, especially for around 10 sacks.

We are getting really soft as a franchise/fanbase if Hardy offended you last year.

Its funny to see people who are fanatical fans of a violent game clutch their pearls and drop onto the fainting couch over a couple of tweets or public comments.

The fact is Hardy did not bring much to the game last year + the fact that a couple of his teammates did not exactly go to bat for him. To me he looked gassed during many games, I'm in no rush to bring him back.

Didn't DLaw have more sacks then him last year, especially down the stretch. Yea he played 3 more games (didn't he miss one?) But he's also a far younger player on the upswing of his career. If Hardy had 10 sacks last year I would probably put up with him this year... Not sure if I put up with him if he's our 2nd best DE

No one is ringing his phone or else it would be news. I'm LOVING that. There's nothing like a discount.

Every single media source, insider and anyone connected to this team has said he WILL NOT be back. It has nothing to do with his contract, his DV case, his on field play or anything else other than what he did in the locker room and practice facilities. If Jerry Jones walks away from talent because of off the field stuff, that should tell you everything you need to know.

And before anyone talks about it only being a rumor or why isn't there proof, there is more than enough smoke here. Also look at the actions the team has taken. They are looking to bring in Chris Long and we haven't heard anything about Hardy other than he emphatically Won't. Be. Back.
