When does Hardy become an option?

We have released the Kraken.

I remember you being pissed we didn't sign him to a multi year deal last year.

Winning cures all IMO, and had we won my bet is there wouldn't have been any of this nonsense.

We have to do something. No backup QB, no WR's, no RB, no DE......the list is getting long! The good news is we have 3 6th round picks to fill those positions! ;)

There's a good reason there's no market for him he'll be lucky to get an opportunity with anyone. He's done here been saying it for months.

Every single media source, insider and anyone connected to this team has said he WILL NOT be back. It has nothing to do with his contract, his DV case, his on field play or anything else other than what he did in the locker room and practice facilities. If Jerry Jones walks away from talent because of off the field stuff, that should tell you everything you need to know.

And before anyone talks about it only being a rumor or why isn't there proof, there is more than enough smoke here. Also look at the actions the team has taken. They are looking to bring in Chris Long and we haven't heard anything about Hardy other than he emphatically Won't. Be. Back.

Although I haven't seen anything official to support yet, for Jerry to walk away from that type of talent.... It speaks VOLUMES.

I don't know if he's done done. I think any potential interested parties are waiting for a bargain.

He'd be the best DE on the team, if retained. Nobody here would be happy if he was picked up by a division rival.

Everyone has been better without Hardy. The Cowboys went 12-4 without him and Carolina just had their best season in franchise history without him.

Thats what the radio and local twitter people have been saying. That even Jerry soured on him. Also saw it's basically Garrett or Hardy and we know how Jerry feels about Garrett.

We won the same number of games with Hardy as we did without him in 2015. He only produced 2 sacks the final 8 games.

I am torn on the Hardy thing...we need the sacks but the guy is obviously a ******

Agreed. Huge ******

But he really exposed Jason for the weak figurehead that he is. A coach who is afraid and unable, to stand up to a player on the field or in the locker room (according to reports).

I don't know exactly what went on behind the scenes but if what has been reported is true then I wouldn't want him back at any price
But only the players and coaches know the whole story

What was reported about Hardy being late for meetings and creating tension in the locker room has to be true because Stephen Jones was quoted as saying Hardy's tardiness for meetings and locker room issues will be considered when determining whether to bring him back. That comment makes it pretty clear Hardy won't be back.

It's not like we can't use him. He's proven, and honestly, we really need a proven pass rush since Gregory seems to be a little slow in the decision making department...

Then why havent they cut him yet or made a official statement yet ???????/
If it was a sure thing, they would have made official statement.

They haven't cut him because he's a free agent.

And, sometimes saying nothing resonates much louder than actually making a statement on the status of the player.

All he proved last season was he's a damn distraction who did more damage in the locker room than he did on the field. He's nothing but trouble waiting to happen. His ace couldn't be out the door fast enough for me.
