what's worse is the army of Fan Boys and Apologists who believe them.cant wait to see Stephen and Jerry claim they are still committed to upgrading the team.
We are about six hours into the first official day of Free Agency and we have people jumping off bridges.
Problem is they are connected to Bungee cords and always seem to bounce back and come back for more.

The best part of this time of the year is all the guys that run and say things like, "hey FA just started" and "you guys are flipping out and FA isn't even a week old" as if people are dumb because the Cowboys are about to drop serious FA acquisitions later.
As if this FA period is now going to be any different than past ones where we really only signed backup types, scrubs and guys like Nolan Carroll who we cut a month into the season.
No the problem is there are enough fans that have no problem with continuing to support a losing organization. So much so that the owners of that organization laugh their way to the bank every single day on our stupidity. But I can't throw stones because i am one of them just like you.
Most people know they are not going to spend big in FA at the beginning and most know they are not going to get big talent in FA later.
They knew all along the cowboys were not going to spend big except for their own.

By and large, the players that could have made an impact on this team are pretty much gone. You are now left looking at situational types and back ups and retreads that maybe, just maybe, you'll turn into a Power Ball winning lottery ticket.
So then why does how long into FA we are matter? If we aren't signing anyone of note, why would it matter to you guys how long we are into free agency?
You probably said this exact thing on this day last year...and the year before.
But turns out they never signed anyone of significance and weren’t able to advance past the 2nd round of the playoffs.
But hey, the status quo is all good. Playoff wins are optional
