Yes or No?

I know I do

I would too. I've see enough of him to know what he can and can't do, and, unless Cassel completely implodes and somehow looks worse, I see no reason to keep Weeden around.

I'm not going to juggle my roster and cut another player to find a place to keep him.

Yes, unless it turns out that Cassel is even worse than Weeden, which I highly doubt.

It's hard for us fans to say because we haven't seen how Moore plays/practices. To just say yes without knowing that is ridiculous to put it nicely.

There may be another team that carries 4 QB's on it's active roster, but I doubt the Cowboys will. If we keep only three on the 53 roster we would have to waive Moore to keep Weeden. As you pointed out, we don't know what Moore is yet. Do you cut him without knowing?

The Cowboys I'm sure have a pretty good read on Moore so I'll let them make that decision. Whether it's now or next year I'm sure Weedens days are numbered. He has no Moxie.

If cassell proves to be a better option then weed will be inactive on game days at the least

We don't know what Weedone is either. Yet we gave him some PT. Kellen's turn to step in behind Matt. Next man up.

Why wait to cut Weedone? That's my only curiosity. It would have been a wonderful birthday present for him earlier this week. An all expense paid trip to Waiver Wire World.

Like their read on Weeden?

Weeden has one of the best arms in football. He just has no Moxie which is not determined until you get playing time. He showed no improvement from start to start. It's a miss by the FO for sure but understandable.

I agree with you completely. But we weren't talking about what the Cowboys know. The question was framed as what we, as fans, would do. I even bolded the part in your quote that emphasized "we as fans". Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

When Romo gets back, I most certainly do think we cut Weeden. As to why keep Weeden around when he's most likely going to get cut anyway, I think there is a bit of strategy as to why. If Cassell gets injured or under performs and we've already cut Weeden, we'll be left with just one QB that's never started a game. I also don't think we're not done shuffling the roster around and Moore still being practice squad eligible gives us some flexibility.

Me personally, I would gamble and just cut Weeden now. He can say how he's going to be a pro till he's blue in the face, but I have a feeling that he's just going to be a negative nancy in the locker room. Just my imo.

When all is said and done however, it should be Romo and Cassell and Moore back to the practice squad and we'll never have to see Weeden ever again. Ever.

Weeden is done. He knows it, the coaching staff and front office knows it, the entire NFL and its' collective fanbases know it. Cut him, and let him get on with his life as an insurance salesman or whatever. He's terrible, and his lack of mental and testicular fortitude will only rub off on the other players in the lockerroom if he's allowed to stick around.

My response was as a fan. I can't make that determination without knowing more about Moores capabilities. Any fan that does has no clue.

If Cassel does well in his first game and if Kellen Moore is promoted to backup then we can cut the weed. Else, you remain the same until Romo comes back, and you keep only one of Cassel and weed, probably Cassel, so yes is the answer but it could come sooner.
