When the Cowboys start slow and the excuse is that Dak is just finding his rhythm

I’d disagree with that assessment. Millions attend games every year and many more millions watch on TV. Go Longhorns!
Because their kids go there or they went there etc etc. The game is just not as good. Sorry

That’s because Mahomes and a Rodgers were atrocious last season. They need to get back on track.

Our guy is in the zone and I won’t tolerate him even taking one snap that could put him in harms way…..not on my watch, nephew
How in good Gods name did this alcohol and meth Infused post actually get 15 “likes”?

what!? the game has ebbs and flows. in the 4th quarter. you are tied. yes, nothing before matters. win the damn game and we didn't. we played small and lost in the end. we had opportunities all through out the game and squandered it.
you want to singluarly place blame on Dak, then that's your choice. but it was more than Dak. he stands out because he is the QB and he is scrutinized to no end, more than any other player I can recall over the past few years (for some reason he is very polarizing in the cowboys fanbase). but you can't deny Diggs screwed up royally. we can't deny the OL played like crap. we can't deny schultz, gallup disappeard. the only player who showed up was Lamb. does Dak carry a larger portion of the blame? yes, absolutley. is he the sole reason? absolutely not.
Do I? I think acknowledging fault is probably the best route to go. Sure, it's a team game but one player's mistakes doesn't wipe away the mistakes of another. There was plenty to go around in that game. Why deflect from any player? Just acknowledge and move on.

I never said one players mistake wipes another players mistake....but to not acknowledge other players mistakes is also faulty. I never deflected from Dak and in fact have said, he needs to elevate. but unlike most (you?) I don't blame the loss solely on Dak.

Why do you keep pointing a finger at me like I even post enough anymore for you to know what I think? Get over yourself.

I'm not solely blaming Dak, I'm just pointing out where he was responsible.

God bless those millions, I can't do it. People love their college and high school football. But there's a big difference between recreational football and pro football. The 1989 Cowboys would beat Alabama today by 50 points. I just can't watch that garbage. To each his own.

That’s sad.

Yeah, pretty much what I expected. It's not the person constantly attributing an unstated position to others who needs to relax, it's the person who's replying without bias that needs to the relax.

I said what I said. Dak's play directly resulted in a 6 point swing and likely could have been more. If that's hard to accept or understand, I can't help you. The fact that the game was inevitably tied after that is only a consequence of that point swing.

It is what it is. He gave up points and cost the team points. What else is there to say?

Good luck making sense out of non-sense with that cat!

Hold on now NFL players have come out and said there's an edge in deflating the footballs.
Anybody who has ever thrown, caught or carried a football knows that the softer the ball is the easier it is to control. That difference becomes especially pronounced in cold weather. Anybody arguing different should go talk to the baseball players who claimed that steroid didn't help them playing baseball. Because what good is there to being bigger, faster, stronger, have superhuman stamina and being able to recover faster from injuries.. right?

I've read you have the ability to throw with more power and further with deflated balls as well.

so the game ended 19-12, give dallas 3 point and take 3 points away from SF, and its 16-15. that's the math per your statement.

and I never Said Dak didn't play bad, and I do want him to play better. but I am not placing all the blame on Dak. there were more than Dak who played bad.

but I get it. you want Mahomes and he is not mahomes. never will be mahomes. thus there will always be something to complain about. and that should make you happy.

Nice post…I agree with you that Jerry is making the call, but given Dak’s inconsistency and running a new offense, one would think he would benefit from the reps during some live action.
dak would have benefited from playing, and he probably wanted to play.
But probably jerry and maybe mike , did not think he needed to play , so he didnt.

The giants defense is fairly good, so good luck to dak starting cold in the first game.
