The day of Parcell's press conference when we found out he would be making all football related decisions.

But then Jerrah just couldn't resist. Smh.....

Agree. This was the last time. Our defense was playing well and the offense was good enough.

And then came the Vikings game...

And we've seen far too many "Vikings Games" since then for my liking.

When Jason had Tony Sparano to hold his hand. Since then the offense has been far more inconsistent than it should be with our talent.

The afternoon of January 13, 2008 before we handed the Giants their Super Bowl run.

End of 05. That was a real rebuilding year.

Excellent draft, excellent guy in charge, excellent coaching staff and romo waiting in the wings.

Then the moron owner strong armed the whole thing and signed Owens.

Agreed, Parcels was visibly different after that point.

When Parcells was named as the coach.

Back then we had guys like Sean Payton and a ton of other coaches like Sparano and others that we were told we're the future of the organization after Parcells is over.

This turned into Jason Garrett and the rest is history

So thanx for the memories.

When Parcells was hired, I felt like their was a actual football guy running the team, instead of a Al Davis jr. ruining the team.

I know what you mean, Parcells did give a ray of hope ...

That was it. Jimmy and then when Parcells arrived. This team has no chance (I don't know that) with Jerry comfortable and in charge. They're not winning this year. They're not winning next year either.

As a fan, all you can do is hope there's change. One way or the other.

After we beat the Eagles in the Playoffs.

We were absolutely rolling at that point.

Right. We didn't realize how bad Jerry's meddling influence would be until Jimmy was gone, then we rejoiced when Parcells apparently was given full control. Of course, that premise didn't survive, and it's now clear for everyone to see that Jerry will always be the problem.

Oh, he wants to win - no doubt.

But he can't help the inner demons that drive this ship in the wrong direction, and it is his ship. He will never recognize his huge ego is the iceberg dead ahead. The ship has been taking on water, but will probably, sadly, need to sink before he abandons it. Then a true salvage and rebuilding operation can begin.

I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't connect the dots at that time that it was only being done to get a stadium built.

But I knew from Jerry's comments after he left that we had no hope for the foreseeable future.
