i think this post is taken verbatim from Meriam Websters dictionary as an example of the word "Blindness"

Naw, not exactly. I felt good about it. New season. anything can blah blah blah..

Then, the kickoff came.

I'd say before the 2010 season. We looked to be a team on the rise and were picked by many to be Super Bowl bound that year. Of course that season turned into a disaster and the outlook has been dismal since.

Right. We didn't realize how bad Jerry's meddling influence would be until Jimmy was gone, then we rejoiced when Parcells apparently was given full control. Of course, that premise didn't survive, and it's now clear for everyone to see that Jerry will always be the problem.

Oh, he wants to win - no doubt.

But he can't help the inner demons that drive this ship in the wrong direction, and it is his ship. He will never recognize his huge ego is the iceberg dead ahead. The ship has been taking on water, but will probably, sadly, need to sink before he abandons it. Then a true salvage and rebuilding operation can begin.

He wants to win but only on his terms. He is not all about winning. He'd rather lose like he is now than win with somebody else making the decisions and getting the credit.

You won't find a more selfish, self-centered individual in your life than Jerry Jones. The one and only reason why the Dallas Cowboys died in 1995.

Yup, been saying it forever.

Whoever claims Jerry is the best owner in sports is high, because the BEST owner in sports would do his absolute best to remove any and all obstacles to winning.

Jerry doesn't want to do "whatever it takes," because if he did, he'd just write the checks and hire the best GM money can buy and let said GM hire/fire/AND DRAFT whoever he wanted.

Jerry would never choose team success over his own ego.

You'd think that by now he'd say..."okay, this isn't working, let's bring somebody in."

Nope. He's dug his heels in. If he's going down, he's going to drag the Dallas Cowboys and all it once stood for with it.

And people wonder why he's my most hated sports personality of all time?
