When will we know something about these Cowboys?

Honestly, after the playoffs. This team is so Jekyll and Hyde.

That said, after the 9ers we'll have a pretty good idea we are. Will have played Ravens, Steelers, Browns, NO, Lions and 9ers, 6 games. We'll know who we are at that point.

I admit that I was pretty disgusted by these armchair losers who flooded this forum with their meaningless opinions about the Cowboys after one game. One game? Why can't these losers get a life?!

But whatever, I get it. Every fan forms an opinion at some point. For example, I would be really impressed if the Cowboys were to beat the Saints and the Ravens. But even then, I kind of want to wait and see until after the Niners game. By then, we should have a good sample size to begin making a judgment.

What say you, boy?
Where have you been the last 28 years?
We will not know anything about these cowboys until the NFC Championship. Period. All of you are kids at a circus falling for the next line of salesman talk. Must be nice to live in a dreamlike child state.

I'm not a psychic but I can tell you exactly what will happen this year. We will blow an important game either in the playoffs or to get in the playoffs and most of the blame will be rightly so, on the QB.

When the Cowboys don't fold like cheap Wal-Mart tents against other "bullies" (49ers), we'll know if they are good.

I get the frustration over the losses. I was pissed for a week after the GB game.

Nonetheless, we finally have a DC that does well against Shanahan offenses in Zimmer and our front 7 looks improved.

I wish the conversation was 'what are we doing to get better against the 49ers' as opposed to lowbrow feigned certainty about playoff outcomes.

Lol yep. 28 years of losing everything to the house but some suckers want to wait and see if the next number hits.
That is just doubling down on the fallacy. Every instance is an event in and of itself. History doesn't repeat itself, it rhymes, and outcomes are not that simple.

Only a week? I am still frustrated/pissed about the GB game. So Zimmer is why you are more optimistic overall? I actually like his defense better than Quinn but I am still worried about Dak's tendency to wither in big games. What makes you think that is going to change?

Many feel we've won it all already
lol yeah beat one awful cleveland team and they are talking 13-3 and SB.
It is way too early to tell what type team we have this year.

When playoffs arrive, everyone will still have doubts about winning there.

Using 2 gap up front and the way the LB are keying off with speed will help against the run game. The disguise is real.

Dak like many wilts when he doesn't know what to do and we are losing. Don't put him in a situation where he needs to score 30 points to beat a good defense.

I don't know if we will win but I see how we have stacked probability more in our favor.

 Huh? Have you actually read any history? It's full of repeats. And Dallas history under GM Leatherface preys on people like you. Enjoy the 1st round playoff exit. It is well worth an additional 60 million per year.
I said it rhymes. There are similarities that 'repeat' but repeat exactly? Never.

And yes I know the scapegoat reasoning where all your angst has someone to blame.

Reality is not that simple.

Totally agree on the LB’s.

At least after one game.

And my hope is Zimmer’s defense has a much better showing against the likes of SF, Balt, etc…
good point, it looked great against the worst team we will play all year, but what about the teams with good to real good offenses.
What about good run teams?

It WOULD be nice if the Defense doesn't just totally no show. I get it.

Dak's job though is to lead the team and get us back into ANY game not throw gas on fires...

There's a reason QB's take up 20++% of the cap. I mean it's a real number and they touch the ball the most.

Jerry loves three things in this world. Hookers, money, and suckers. And Dallas gives him all three in abundance.
