Dude, what do you want if not kudos?

"Look at me I was right, and a bunch of you were wrong."

You would prefer I give you a "screw you?"

I will stay away from the Fasano bashing...

  • we have a player in Curtis. He looks like a solid cheaper alternative.
  • and, we have another development guy in Rodney Hanna, who's a former basquetball player, has the measureables and shows potential.

I'll stay objective about the Fasano trade with these two positives.

On the other hand I don't like the idea of having to rely on Zach Thomas for a whole season coming off concussions and other ailments. Carpenter better show why we took him in the 1st round two years ago.

Actually, who cares if he was right or not. Alot of people on this board are right and wrong at times but he needs to beat his chest about it for some reason... Unbelievable!!!

what is more irritating is how insistent some of you were on his talent and his value if witten got hurt...when there of those of us who saw him for what he was....and now won't see him again.

I am a Cowboy fan...for life. I get no pleasure in us WASTING a 2nd round pick. All I am saying is that it would not kill some of you to come off your high horse around here and think before you JUSTIFY every player the Cowboys bring into the organization. If you or anyone else thought this guy was what the Cowboys needed...it would not kill any of you to admit you were wrong about him. Since you went to great lenghts to defend the selection...since you went to great lenghts to justify his tenure.....why get all defensive when you find out the Cowboys intend to move forward without his service? None of us our above being wrong...so man up and move forward. He was not a player in Dallas....and he will not be much of a player in Miami when you consider where he was drafted. We drafted Witten in the 3rd round and he is 5 times the player Fasano is. Curtis has always been a better receiver and he was not even drafted. Fasano did not do one thing well...and that is bad when you consider he was a 2nd round pick. Those are the facts.

He didn't get cut, he got traded. So it doesn't mean anyone was wrong about him -- especially since there's a good chance he'll be the starter for Miami.

We got 2 years out of him and a 4th round pick.

I have no issue with it.

Oh yeah, I never defended the selection. Don't believe me? Ask Juke99 what I was griping about at Dinner that night.
