Where are you now on losing/retaining/promoting Dan Quinn?

He was one of the hottest names for the 2023 HCing cycle before the season started. Although we are ranked #5 defensively, we still have some serious issues. But I guess the question is/are his scheme vs lack of quality players in key positions. Has his star fizzled a bit over the last few weeks? Thoughts?

• Do you still want him as MM replacement?
• Are you OK with losing him for an HC job?

Never wanted him as MM replacement.

I think we all know it a lack of talent. Its was bad before he got here. Now if we want to blame him for not fixing the problem, there is some of that.

Is Payton anymore proven than McCarthy? Even DQ has a winning record and a Super Bowl appearance as a HC. I’m just not sure what “proven” means or why it’s important. Payton has had some terrible defenses in his day as well.

I think it's more lack of talent.

He has blown 2nd half leads of 14 and 17 points this season. Still the same guy who blew a huge lead multiple times in Atlanta, including the Super Bowl.

It doesn’t matter. This team will continue to falter at the hands of any and everyone. We’re a poverty franchise that can’t be fixed. Keep his or lose him, we’ll be in the same 1st round exit loop until the end of time.

Would prefer him as a D coordinator not head coach. I think a lot of the issues are talent related and the recent injuries are compounding this. It seems he was able to hide some of the deficiencies earlier in the season with a good pass rush but it looks like teams have caught on and he just doesn't have the horses at this point to provide much help. I'm not ready to toss him aside just yet.

I’m fine with Quinn but if he left I wouldn’t be nearly as heartbroken as I would’ve been this year. Demeco Ryan is gonna be a damn good coach.
