I have never been sold on Quinn. I can't shake his record with Atlanta. Call it bias, but it is what it is. I am not sure if it is Quinn who has gotten player to play at a higher level or Micah Parsons who had infectious energy when he arrived in Dallas. But we have not seen that energy the last two or 3 games, and at the same time we have not seen it from Parsons, so I wonder, is it Parsons or Quinn?
I still think whoever the coach is, you have to have the players to win. All the great coaches lost when their team talent dropped. As Quinn loses pieces of the defense to injury, suddenly he is not coaching as well?
This week is a measuring stick for Quinn. Last week the Jags exposed our defense running to the perimeter and taking advantage of the backup CBs. Can a coach fix those issues in the meeting rooms? If the Cowboys stop the Eagles offense this week, then I will give Quinn a lot of credit. But if the Eagles expose the same issues this week, then it will reinforce my belief that he has benefitted from the drafting of Micah Parsons.
