I have Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson, Brady (until he's incapable of throwing he very much ahead of Dak, no contest), Brees, Stafford (highly underrated), BigBen, Ryan, Cousins, Jackson and Watson ahead of Dak. All of those except Jackson are better pure passers. Jackson is ahead of Dak due to his legs, he can run and be decisive about it and that's a greater threat than just being able to run when a wide lane is there.

The only way I see Dak moving up is when players retire, I can't see him being a better passer than where he's currently at. His reads may develop more, but the ability to put the ball in the right spot consistently is capped.
This is about right! I would say Dak is around 12 to 14.

I went with 11-15 because I assumed we were talking all QB’s, regardless of age, to start this NFL season, knowing only what we already know. If we were talking about ranking him among young QB’s to make our franchise QB and give a 4-5 year contract, then I think he’s definitely in the top 10. If we are talking young QB’s who fit our scheme and personnel, I’ll put him in the top 5.

Ignore the contract situation. Assume the contract is whatever you want it to be.

Where do you rank Dak Prescott among quarterbacks in the NFL?

Interesting. Absolutely NO ONE has Dak worse than 15 so I guess that argument about Dak being average is over with.

Who are the 3 that think he is elite? I can guess one of them. Most people have it right on the money. Weird that so many seem to muck up the board arguing about something we all agree on.

I could put Big Ben Brady and Brees ahead of him here. After this season coming up I could see maybe one or two guys passing him too, namely 2 of the 3 QBs in NY.

I don't see how Wentz is in front of Dak. Why is Brees so low, must be the age. He should be up there in the top 5. Tom Brady I take over Dak until proven otherwise.

I do. He won a winner take all with zero offense and Dak laid an egg with a full offense.

Cant argue the game. The entire Dallas team laid an egg that day. And I couldn't be happier about it. That was the day Garrett was unofficially expunged.

So would you take Wentz over Dak?

I have Dak where the NFL has him ranked & not where some no name never accomplished anything Cowboys hater has him.

"The landscape of quarterbacks in the NFL has shifted seismically in the past four years alone. With the arrival of Mahomes, Jackson, Watson, Prescott & Wentz, the new have already begun the process of supplanting the old.

No longer is Brady the best quarterback in football. No longer is Rodgers the most physically gifted quarterback in the NFL. No longer is Ryan a top-10 quarterback."

I have him right about 10.

That said, I think there is a relatively large group that only has a marginal difference between them, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Maybe around 6 to 14 range as far as ranking. The top guys (and there are only a few) can make an average team look good. The bottom guys can make a good team look average.

So close. Honestly, this year will let us all know who the better QB is because both will be playing with a full deck (HC) of cards.

Did you consider Burrows? I think Burrows knocks Dak from 10 to 11 lol.
And basically I look at the last year, not career . like parcells said, what have you done lately.
I am only talking about Burrow, nothing else in your post. You know Cincinnati is death right? We will see how well he throws the out pattern in the league.
