I am a big believer in drafting a QB and having Him sit which is where the Cowboys are at with Will

Not really young anymore, he is only a few years younger than Dak. By the time Dak is done in two years, Grier will be a 30 year old first-time starter

QBs can play into their late 30 and he has no wear and tear from pressure/sacks

What Grier is lacking is a chance. Perhaps if we choose not to resign Rush he’ll get a chance when Dak gets his yearly injury.

I am fine using a 1st rounder in one of the next 2 drafts on a QB. I'm not sure how a 3rd round pick from 5 years ago is the answer
