The man was a great great guy outside of football everytime I went to his door pedling my school burdens he always was the one to answer his door and always bought more than the other houses did. I remember him for that more than what he represents as a coach of the cowboys. He is the single biggest reason I love the cowboys and always will. anyone who ever speaks ill of him for the rest of my life will raise my ire. He was one hell of a man. I wish we had something like what he represents now.
Couldn't agree more...he was a real life hero and represented what was best about the Cowboys....they don't make em like Coach Landry anymore.
