The explosive offense they have exhibited has saved some of the defensive deficiencies they have, mainly the seconadary being patchwork
I hope we game plan to attack that unlike when we played Seattle in the playoffs the year they had to actually rehire Pete Hunter, Insurance agent extraordinaire, to play safety and, predictably, we never attempted to throw any passes his way

If there is any game we should spread the field...it's this one.

Having said that...we won't.

Test Sharper, see what happens.

Somehow his old *** has almost as many picks as the entire Dallas secondary.

You can definitely score on the Saints, alot of average teams have put up points against them (e.g. Commanders) - it will definitely be a shootout but if you can find a way to at least slow the offense down a bit - we should have a good chance.

The Jets actually did a pretty good job of shutting them down (most of the points scored against the Jets came from the NO defense)

Offensively I think Dallas will be able to move the ball passing and running it as well as score. Saints are giving up an avg of 21 points a game. In constrast Dallas is giving up 17 points a game. I think the real key is to slow down the Saints offense, not an easy task and the way they run screens out to Bush they are very difficult to blitz so I think Dallas has to be careful of when they choose to blitz Brees. One thing I have noticed and the skins did very well was when they rushed the Brees if they could not get to him they were able to stay in front of him and got their hands up, Brees is a bit of a short QB and tends to get balls batted in the air which could lead to some turnovers. Last thing I would like to see is Dallas forcing the Saints into long drives not giving up 1 or 2 play drives. In ways I think we should play them with pretty much the same game plan as we did vs Philly where we did not allow the big plays down field and forced Philly to go 10 or 12 plays to score

Saints score quickly.Have all the refs calls.Have the best or 2nd best QB in the NFL with surgeon like precision.Defense creates turnovers. They are gonna blitz Romo all night.Sean payton knows him.Saints have had close games because they are in sleep mode lately.Saturday night they wont be sleeping against us.A crushing of epic proportions is coming boys.

"Test" the player who is probably the leading candidate for the Defensive Player of the Year (Charles Woodson is probably the other candidate)?

Sounds like a great plan to me....

I'll agree with this their secondary isn't a strength neither is ours though. There offense is also a lot better than ours with a lot more weapons. So it's pretty meh. If ware isn't going then their pass rush will also be better than ours.

Boo. Hiss.

At least wait until the game is played. Then bring out the pitchforks. Getting tired of the same old **** every day. Try to come up with something original in your bashing.

the same as every team and the other thing we dont do, pressure the qb. I really dont see why we dont do this often.

you want to win this game, play the game like we did in '07, let Romo be Romo, let him play his way, for all his mistakes he'd still get 4 td's a game, now we are thrilled if we get 2.

Let the Oline barrel over our opponents and remind Barber why he is a tough runner.

If i was Wade, id tell the boys, I might be going out, so lets go crazy, lets play this game as it was meant to be played, wild and free, let that ball fly and let the runners run.

Forget about giving up the big play and go after that QB and let the team be them.

Their defense as a whole is suspect, but if recent history is any indication, where there is a weakness, the Cowboys tend to ignore it.

Reality...everyone has their version. I agree we have a huge almost impossible challenge next Saturday. Hope the players have a better attitude then many "fans".

The best chance Dallas has is to score points. That will mean playing mistake free, penalty free football.Jason Garrett will have to call a good game as well.If they can get the ball and learn to finish a drive with points instead of shooting themselves in the foot they will be ok.

The defense needs to play a complete game and not fold like a cheap suit when the chips are down. They also need to force some turnovers and try to create a shorter field.

Special teams needs to step it up.Folk needs to find his mojo or whatever makes him tick.I'd rather have seven than three anyday, but three is better than none.
Kickoff return needs to get some good starting field position, they have stunk at that all year.
Punt return,Crayton what have you done lately?

you guys are crazy.

Just listen to those saints fans. They have no weaknesses. greatest team ever.

No one in the history of the league could beat this team. they play in that stacked nfc south and have a long history of playoff success.....just look at the group that is there now....winners across the board. All of them, super bowl winners, they know all about championships.

We should just thank the league this week that we get to share a field with such nfl royalty.

Strange. I haven't heard any of that from a single Saints fan here.

Just a small tidbit but over the last 4 game Dallas has avg 5.7 penalties a game quite a bit better than they have been.

No doubt that they have been better in the last month.

Just saying that to beat a team like the Saints will take their best effort. No false starts on 1st and goal from the one foot line.Maybe I should have said they need to avoid penalties at inoppurtune times.Anyway lets just hope that they show up and play a competitve game.

I was hoping the Cowboys getting out of their own way was a big part of the solution. A 2-2 record the last 4 despite the improvement in penalties tells me there is much more wrong than penalties.

And this is where the crowd comes into play. It is quite common to see at least 3-4 false starts by opponents in the Dome. These usually seem to come at the most inopportune time for the opponents.
