Saints score quickly.Have all the refs calls.Have the best or 2nd best QB in the NFL with surgeon like precision.Defense creates turnovers. They are gonna blitz Romo all night.Sean payton knows him.Saints have had close games because they are in sleep mode lately.Saturday night they wont be sleeping against us.A crushing of epic proportions is coming boys.
Unfortunately I agree. I hope we can pull it out against them though.

I agree. Plus they are home. The close games they have played have all been on the road. At home they dominate.

Why people don't see this is beyond me.

It isn't a matter of not seeing. It's a matter of not automatically conceding defeat. My confidence may be low, but I'm not giving up.

They are weak in the fact that they think that we are gonna roll over.

It doesn't mean much but most teams this year haven't beat us, we've just found ways to lose and gift wrapped 4 of our 5 losses.

I will guarantee you that the Saints do not think the Cowboys will roll over. Why else would they be approaching this game with the same philosophy as they did the Patriots game? Payton knows the Cowboys all too well.

The Saints destroyed the Bucs 38-7. Yes, that is going to be the club to expect Saturday night.

I think the Cowboys should get into a shootout with the Saints. No doubt that this would be advantage New Orleans, but controlling the clock running and playing good defense just simply does not work for the Cowboys. Garrett lacks any originality and creativity--so when he runs, that's it, that's all he does. The other team will catch on and bend, but NOT break, and in doing so just waste the time on the clock and result in absolutely zero points, yet again, while the NO offense will score at will on a defense that bends for a while and then inevitably breaks.

And who knows? Maybe playing some aggressive, throw it deep, multiple receiver sets would give the players a little confidence. They are so drab and lifeless that maybe a big play or two would actually remind them that they're supposed to like playing the game.

I do sense that they are way overconfident for this game. It's like they think they're going to be shooting fish in a barrel.

It reminds me a little of the way they were talking about the undefeated season after the big Patriots win... And then only by a miracle did they not lose to Washington.

I watched part of their Falcons game last night on NFLN, and Chris Redmon was moving the ball pretty well against them. Yes, that was on the road, but it was in perfect dome conditions just like they like it.

If we could get something going early and put a little doubt in their mind, we could do some good. And I actually think that even if they get a lead, say 14-0, and we could come back and tie it, they might start to wonder a little.

That's one out of 4.

The other three were wins, as well. These are NFL teams we are talking about. Winning on the road in the NFL is not easy.

Pardon me, college has done a number on my memory. Either way, if you were in the east you would be battling for a playoff spot. Playing each one of these teams twice is much more difficult than rolling through a division that is more up and down than Jenna Jameson.

You have to realize also that all division rival games (ie. Falcons, Panthers)are tough to the Saints. These teams play each other twice every year and always put up a fight.

EDIT: Apollo beat me to it.

Very true. That is one reason why I wouldn't be shocked if we lost to Carolina in week 17 on the road. The fact that we blew out both the Giants and the Eagles, while Dallas has struggled with both leads credence to this philosophy. The NFL South teams are extremely familiar with the Saints, thus are more difficult in which to prepare.

Agreed. The same people criticizing your wins against those teams were railing against Cowboys fans that weren't happy with how the Cowboys beat inferior teams. It's a huge double standard.

I happen to agree with you though. A road victory against any NFL team is a good win. Because ultimately a win is better than a loss, and no team is going to blow out every single team they face. It's just not realistic to expect that.

Yup. Our run stopping nose tackle, Sedrick Ellis, was held out and it really showed. We couldn't stop him at all up the middle.

I just hope Shockey doesn't have a big game against us. He'll be talking trash all over the field like he did when he was here in NY. Granted we have a lot better talented LBs and DBs who can cover him compared to back in the day. The only other offensive player that worries me is Colston just a little bit. Jenkins will handle him easily, but if Newman or Scandrick match up it'll be a push. Colston just a 1 year wonder.

Saints average a 15 point lead a victory in the superdome. We've had a few close calls outside the dome, but it's been blowout after blowout in the dome. You are catching us at the right time, cause two starting corners are out. However, this is just a different team at home. Enjoy.

Love it... Cowboy fans criticizing our wins. How many games have you lost? Should we start going through them one at a time?

13-0....Who Dat!
