During those gashes up the middle, where was Rolando McClain? Except for his untimely hands-to-the-face on third down, I didn't hear his name. He was a point of weakness all game.

Is he the best solution at middle linebacker?

Yes he is the best solution. One bad game doesn't make him a bust. Just like everybody was wailing and gnashing their teeth after the first quarter because Cassell didn't look all world.

Some times I feel like calling up a woman beater on some of y'all. Its so easy for y'all to look for the next freak train to come along before you give the one you're sleeping with a chance.:mad:

:huh::omg::laugh:

He was there, but Marinelli was too busy sending him on blitzes away from the play the entire game. Both he and Lee were lined up offset the entire 1st half and it hurt them IMO. I've never seen them play with this alignment.

Lee and McClain both looked to be out of position a few times.

That's just an excuse. First of all if you're showing blitz any vet quarterback is gonna audible to a run away from that blitz. Lee and McClain were still in position to make plays and got overpowered. With this scheme and the lack of gurth up front that cannot happen.

He was terrible. He better show up against Seattle or we r in huge trouble.

The whole interior was terrible. Coughlin made it a point to say today that they designated physical runs up the gut as an area of opportunity.

Just another thing to get exposed. No big deal.

He was out of position or on his back.

The Cowboys lined up really awkwardly quite a few times, like they thought they knew something, but in reality didn't. The DT's also both line up shockingly wide considering how bad they were gashing us up the middle. They did it in the Atlanta game too. I understand you want your DL to get up field, but when they line up that wide it takes no effort to turn them and a C and/or guard are to the next level in no time.

I thought schematically this was one of the worst games Marinelli has called. After not adjusting versus New England, he really needed to come out and show he was in-tune with the game. I didn't see it at all.

SB tells us how you really feel! I'm with you one bad game isn't a big deal. I expect better of him of course because I hold him to a high standard of a SOB MLB. I have no doubts he will bounce back.
