Any team can beat any team. But through 12 weeks Carolina and Arizona have very good. Carolina has won 6 straight. That's hard to do. Beating New England and San Francisco in those 6 straight. And Arizona whipped Indianapolis today. You are what your record says you are. 7-4 speaks for itself, Bruce Arians has done a great job. Carolina, zona, and San Fran all have good defenses. Which is something you need on the road in the playoffs. Arizona might be a pretender, but I think Carolina is legit for sure.

Defense does win games in the playoffs. But what is the best defense? A good offense! Hanging onto hope that our offense is figuring things out and will be ready to roll in January. I think ARI, Car and SF are pretenders...two of the three don't have enough offense and it isn't stellar.

I hope so too. I really think Carolina is for real. That defense is really really good. Led by Luke Kuechly. I don't see them going away. Scary playoff team. Arizona I'm skeptical about bc of Carson Palmer. They started 4-0 last season and you know what happened after that. But they have put themselves in a good position. They control there own destiny. It would be interesting if they still played in the NFC east. Carolina Arizona and Sam Fran all fighting for 2 wildcard spots. Either way I think we will have a good shot facing any of those teams in the playoffs at home.

Car isn't bad but I think we would get them at home. I don't want to play in Arizona, ugggh. If we had a choice to go on the road for round 2, give me SF. If that happens(rarity), I will fly out there to see it. Have room for 4 more people to stay at our place if need be :) The house is rented out but I can persuade them to allow us to stay there for the weekend  Napa the day before, Pier 39 that night and Sonoma the day after!

I agree. I would rather play the 49ers than Panthers or Cardinals. Those D's terrify me.
