In a hypothetical world where the NFL re-drafts after pre-season (today), where do you think Dak would go?

First pick

You really think so? I mean, your guess is as good as mine. But going from late fourth to the number one overall pick is quite the jump, based on 3 pre-season games.

If you could only keep one of Elliott/Prescott, who would it be?

First. Goff is not looking good. People keep saying the vanilla blah and he's had the same conditions. NFL player, obviously, are another level of skill and talent. Preseason or not and so far he's been exposed while Dak has been nearly perfect.

If they knew what we know now I think first. Some had him as the top QB going into the college season last year.

We got lucky and we deserve it. It's for the good of the country.

That's a very interesting question. I think first round. QB is the key to a franchise and too valuable of a position to not take a chance on.

As far as the quarterbacks in the draft, I'm not sure about Wentz or Lynch but I he goes ahead of Goff for sure.

well, he'd have that DUI item behind him so that wouldn't be a gray cloud hanging over. I believe before that he was rated a 2nd round and being this exercise seem to insinuate including his NFL preseason performance as a cosidering factor...... I'd say easily first round

I think he'd be a late first-round pick based on what people know now. The intangibles -- leadership, charisma and preparation -- have been as impressive as anything on the field. And those intangibles are difficult to grade ahead of time.

Probably moves in the late 2nd, early 3rd round.

8 quarters of pre-season play isn't going to change things that much for these rookie QBs.

Absolutely. He looks light years ahead of Goff, and I don't think Wentz is looking that great, either.

Very, very true. But so far, all he's shown is that that pro-ready. That's very different than having #1 overall upside. I'm not saying your wrong, but the upside could still be a question.

If we're only taking into account preseason performance and we're still assuming the teams are going to draft in the same order again and most likely be looking for the same positions... I think it would be safe to say that he'd probably be the #1 overall.

I mean, Goff has looked pretty bad, Wentz has been meh and Lynch slightly better than that, so if nothing else was taken into account except their preseason performances... yeah, 1st.

With that said: That's a pretty bad way to solely "redraft" the draft, so take it for what it's worth. lol
