Last week we had a bunch of chicken littles saying the season is over. yada yada, there was a ton of threads complaining and whining about bp and everything under the sun. so what do you guys think now? BP coached an amazing game, the D was great, offense was aggressive and great, we did everything well.

And I'm sure all of those threads will return the moment the Cowboys lose another game.

I don't ask anyone to follow blindly but what gets me is the over the top comments about firing guys or slamming players after 4 weeks of a season. Players and teams can improve as the season goes on but some act as if the sky is falling because we go out and have a bad game. I hate to say it but the truth is we will have bad days and we will have some good ones, at the end of 16 games we will see exactly where we are

The "fire Parcells" cries are a bit much for me to take as well. Does the man make mistakes? Sure. But he's like just about any coach in that regard. Everyone, players included, are open to criticism. Some of it is justified. But there is an over-the-top element that exists, for sure. And it does get old - on both ends of the spectrum.

It just gets old seeing Cowboy fans turn tail on the Cowboys and then come back and say Oh well I'll eat crow and it taste good. Some just show no faith at all for this team.

Props to the people that believed in the team last week. Props to the crowd that sounded more like a Kansas City crowd than a Dallas Cowboys crowd, let's keep it up next week.

I agree. We have a damn fine coach and lucky to have him here. There is nothing wrong with being vocal or talking about concerns but the over the top crowd just gets old.

I posted my thoughts right here on this board: Looks like some of us were right afterall

My point is not that Parcells & Zimmer didn't coach a great game but that they did and should have been doing it all along. They did exactly what many of us have been begging them to do from day-1 and play to win.

This weekend is a game that Drew hasn't won since 1999 - a game that will give his team a 4-2 record. A win and the Cowboys are 4-2, 2-1 in the division. (In Buffalo his record after 6 games was 3-3 in '02, 3-3 in '03 and 2-4 in '04). In 2001 it was 0-2 and 2000 it was 2-4.

A loss this weekend and it's back to parity of 3-3, with a 1-2 record in the division, and third place.

I didn't jump off the wagon when we lost to the Raiders or skins....... I felt like this would be an up and down season because of the youth and defensive changes..... I certainly didn't expect what happened yesterday but count me in as one happy sucka this morning..... Here's hoping to more wins like the one we put on Philly...... boy that sounds good!!!!!! :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :laugh2:

You know what, if the playcalling hadn't changed I bet the "sky would be falling" today, but wait, what am I thinking, it isn't the coaches that win the games it is the players executing, so let us give NO credit to the playcalling and coaching, 100% of the credit goes to the players for EXECUTING. Yeah, thats the ticket,

Oh yeah really everyone knows that a team dominates at the line of scrimage because of the play calling. Its remarkable how when the right play is called the offensive line suddenly blocks all their assignments and the defensive line starts getting in the opposing QBs face.

Who is kidding who here when your players execute their assignments a team will win a large majority of the time, A Cowboy fan need to look no farther than the 90's Super Bowl teams. Everyone knew that team was going to run and play a ball control game but they couldn't stop it because of the execution...........

I was probably one of those "chicken littles", I guess. The playcalling was a concern up to yesterday. That game proved what this team is capable of if given the chance. BP finally grew some cajones and let 'er rip. I commend him for that.

Let's keep that ball rolling though.

If you are saying that the 90's Cowboys were just as imaginative as the first quarter 2005 COwboys then you really need to dig out some old game tapes. The 90's Cowboys took shots down the field and early.

it was unbelievable. The game has passed Bill Parcells by. Why did Parcells fail here? Roy Williams can't make a tackle to save his life. Parcells can't win without Bellichick.

here are some of yours truly comments to the chicken littles last week:

what a joke. we lose a close game on the road and suddenly the game has passed Bill Parcells by. Are you frieking kidding me? we were in the game until the last play. same with the Commanders game. nobody is blowing us away like they are doing to the mighty pats. you guys need to get a grip. it's a long season and we will be on the playoffs for sure. the raiders get paid too. randy moss and warren sapp are not some johnny come lately trying to make a name for themselves. stop the knee jerk reactions please

Just the same, lets not get too overconfident with another division rival coming in. Expect a close tough game next week. Eli is the real deal with Plax, Toomer and Shockey as weapons

It seems those "crybabies" were right.....

They wanted a game called like we just had. Look at what happened?

Ol' BP might actually be on this board. :)

Though some people may go too far with it, there was plenty of reason to be pessimistic. To call your fellow fans crybabies and whiners is not to cool in my book Hiero. Chicken littles isnt so bad though.

And that's true. We're 3-2. And I think we need to take 2 out of the next 3. 3 out 3 would be sweet. 1 out of 3 would be bad and 0-3 would be devastating.

I agree, I'm proud of the team and how they played but I also relize we have a long ways to go before Jan. gets here. This game also shows everyone that they are capiable of playing quality football so the pressure is on the team now to keep it up.
